The Defense Sector at Leidos is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineer to join our team on-site at Eglin AFB, FL, in support of the Joint Staff J6 Joint Assessment Division (JAD). Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support system engineering life cycle for software and hardware data collection components, including designing, developing, maintaining, testing, and deploying software solutions.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following established coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Participate in an agile development environment with sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Design and implement database schemas and develop triggers and queries to support analysis.
  • Work on automating processes, creating scripts, and improving efficiency of workflows.

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizen with at least an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data structures.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C#, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Leidos is hiring a SME Oracle APEX Developer on the ESA V program.  ESA V is an IT applications and infrastructure services program supporting several customers within the Department of Justice (DOJ).  The program provides a range of IT services, including software application support, enterprise infrastructure support, service desk, ITSM, deskside support, workstation engineering and maintenance, telecommunications and mobility engineering services, managed print services, Active Directory services, and video conferencing. Primary Responsibilities. Work at the direction of the program manager to support the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, primarily using the Oracle APEX toolset.

  • Perform advanced use of Oracle APEX.

  • Perform work with Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.

  • Design and manipulate web content dynamically using JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

  • Create dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment. Provide support in the advanced use of Oracle Database products version 11 and above.

  • Provide support Oracle database objects – tables, indexes, directories, sequences, triggers, etc.

  • Provide support with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting with familiarity with built-in PLSQL packages and procedures.

The Homeland Sector within Leidos is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer Team Lead, with strong systems, software, cloud, and Agile experience to support a complex program to provide Agile development. Position Overview

The HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of human resources functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policy enforcement. This role will work closely with management to ensure a positive work environment and compliance with all applicable labor laws and company policies. When needed, the HR Generalist may also assist in recruiting efforts to support staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll
  • Administer benefits programs and coordinate open enrollment
  • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support performance management processes and assist with employee evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, and other employment laws and regulations
  • Handle employee relations matters with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate training and development programs to support employee growth
  • Provide assistance in recruiting activities when requested by management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role
  • Knowledge of federal and Florida employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience in the Information Technology field
  • Strong Java programming/development skills, with hands-on experience
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework, preferably Angular
  • Experience with, or knowledge of, the Spring Framework and RESTful services and SQL, ORM libraries such as Hibernate/JPA
  • Experience with Git branching and merging within a team to manage source code

Preferred Qualifications:
