The Assistant Used Equipment Manager supports the procurement, management, and resale of used equipment to maximize asset value and drive market growth. This role blends strategic sales execution with operational oversight, including inventory management, reconditioning coordination, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute strategies to market, price, and sell used equipment while identifying growth opportunities and maintaining market competitiveness
  • Analyze market trends and performance metrics (margins, turnover, aging inventory) to guide inventory and pricing decisions
  • Manage used equipment inventory, including tracking location, condition, valuation, and coordinating reconditioning with service teams
  • Support sales efforts through appraisals, trade valuations, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues and maintaining strong relationships
  • Maintain accurate records, ensure operational efficiency, and follow all safety standards

Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in used or heavy equipment, or a related industry
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience with inventory management, pricing, and sales support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems (Dynamics preferred)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Job Details

This position is one of the most important roles at our firm. You are the head of the relationship with our network firm, a large RIA in the Atlanta with over 130 advisors. You will project manage all the various projects and act as a strategic advisor to the leadership of the network firm. You will lead the effort to drive profitability and growth within this organization, which in turn will support our growth.

You bring experience within the wealth management world. Whether it be an advisor, manager or supporting role. You have a deep knowledge of concepts and operational relationships that are part of running a wealth management firm. Any experience with M&A and Corporate Development is a big plus.
