TRC’s client, an Industry Leader in Supply Chain Software, has a direct hire opportunity for a Principal Salesforce Engineer!

This is a Hybrid position located in Atlanta (Powers Ferry area).

The Principal Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, building, and delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions. This role leads complex initiatives, provides architectural guidance, mentors engineers, and partners closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members
• Own application architecture and technical design specifications
• Perform code reviews, testing, and production support
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Partner with business teams to define scope, priorities, and delivery timelines
• Support roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives
• Required Experience & Skills
• 7+ years of enterprise Salesforce development and support
• Strong experience with Salesforce configuration and customization (Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL)
• Experience with Lightning (Aura, Lightning Web Components)
• Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft)
• Experience with AppExchange solutions (e.g., FinancialForce)
• Proficiency with Salesforce development and version control tools (VS Code, GitHub/Bitbucket)
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies and distributed teams
• 2+ years leading or mentoring engineers
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
