Year Up United is seeking an Entry Level Sales Specialist Opportunity within our Sales & Business Development team, supporting our mission-driven work in the Banking, Insurance & Investment sectors. In this role, you will identify, engage, and nurture relationships with prospective employer partners interested in hosting and hiring Year Up program participants, helping to expand internship and employment pathways for talented young adults. Working closely with Program Managers and the broader partnerships team, you will conduct outreach via phone, email, social media, and virtual or in-person meetings to generate leads, qualify prospects, and schedule discovery conversations for senior relationship managers. You will research target organizations, understand their talent needs, and clearly articulate the value of Year Up’s model, including our comprehensive one-year program that blends academics with real-world internships. Leveraging a consultative sales approach, you will support the development of tailored proposals and presentations, track interactions and pipeline activity in a CRM system, and follow up consistently to move opportunities forward. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth handoff from initial interest to deeper partnership discussions and, eventually, signed agreements that create meaningful opportunities for students.
