Work Arrangement: Onsite, Los Angeles Office Department: Finance Reports To: Financial Controller Position Overview The Senior Accountant is a hands-on, individual contributor responsible for overseeing the full-cycle accounting function in a small, fast-growing company operating across both B2B (wholesale/channel) and B2C (direct-to-consumer and e-commerce) sales models. This role owns the month-end close process, revenue and inventory accounting, financial reporting, and operational reconciliations. The Senior Accountant will work closely with leadership, sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls while supporting scalable growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a lean environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and can balance strategic thinking with detailed execution. Key Responsibilities 1. Full-Cycle Accounting & Close Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations Maintain general ledger accuracy Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports Support year-end audit and tax preparation 2. Revenue Accounting (B2B & B2C) Manage revenue recognition across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels Reconcile high-volume e-commerce transactions and payment platforms Track chargebacks, deductions, rebates, and promotional accruals Monitor gross margins by channel and product 3. Inventory & Cost Accounting Oversee inventory reconciliation and valuation Monitor COGS, landed cost, freight, and warehousing allocations Track slow-moving and obsolete inventory reserves Partner with operations to ensure inventory accuracy 4. Accounts Receivable & Payable Oversight Monitor AR aging and customer credit exposure (B2B accounts) Review and reconcile customer deductions and disputes Oversee AP processes and vendor reconciliations 5. Cash Management & Controls Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Assist with cash flow forecasting Strengthen internal controls in a growing business environment Identify process improvements and automation opportunities 6. Cross-Functional Support Provide financial insights to leadership Support budgeting and forecasting activities Assist with system improvements (ERP, accounting software, e-commerce integrations) Act as a key finance resource across departments Requirement &Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience in B2B wholesale and/or B2C retail/e-commerce environments preferred Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) Advanced Excel skills Experience reconciling high-volume transaction data Other Eligibilities Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
