Role: SCADA Systems Analyst / OT Applications Specialist Location : Houston, TX Pay Range: $110,000 - $145,000 / Annually Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k). Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to support and enhance critical operational systems within a dynamic industrial technology environment. This role focuses on maintaining, optimizing, and developing SCADA and related data systems that enable real-time monitoring, reporting, and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally with both IT and operational teams. Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SCADA and related systems Configure and enhance system screens, databases, and user interfaces to improve usability and performance Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures Assist in the integration and management of data historians and time-series data platforms Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system improvements Contribute to software development and scripting efforts to automate processes and improve efficiency Maintain accurate system documentation, configurations, and operational procedures Support compliance-related systems and processes as needed Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner to minimize operational impact Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SCADA systems, industrial control systems, or similar operational technologies Experience with enterprise-level SCADA platforms or comparable systems is preferred Familiarity with data historians or large-scale data collection systems is a plus Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries and stored procedures Working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., C#, VB, PowerShell) is preferred Exposure to automation tools such as Excel macros or similar technologies is a plus Understanding of regulatory or compliance-driven systems is beneficial Ability to support system configuration, database management, and technical documentation Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
