True Work-Life Balance: Standard business hours (7-4 or 8-5) with strictly no overtime.

Objective

As the Product Manager (PM) for Power and Circuit Protection, you will act as the CEO of your product category. Partnering closely with a Product Engineer, you will manage a multi-million dollar line of business encompassing motor controls, transformers, and circuit protection. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a multi-year product roadmap to expand market share and maintain a competitive edge.

Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor landscapes to identify white-space opportunities.

New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead the full launch process, including branding, supplier selection, price positioning, and initial sales forecasting.

Supplier Management: Negotiate supply agreements and manage global vendor relationships to optimize product costs and quality.

Commercial Execution: Develop marketing materials for the web store/catalog and provide high-level backline technical support for internal teams and customers.

Lifecycle Management: Manage product health, including end-of-life (EOL) transitions and obsolescence strategies for slow-moving inventory.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred) or 10+ years of equivalent industry experience.

Industry Expertise: At least 7–10 years of experience in the Industrial Control & Automation market.

Functional Background: Experience as a Controls Engineer, Product Manager, Application Engineer, or System Integrator is highly valued.

Technical Knowledge: Deep subject matter expertise in motor controls, transformers, and circuit protection products.

Compliance & Tools: Familiarity with agency approvals (UL, CSA, CE) and CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) is a strong plus.

Soft Skills: Must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex projects independently in a collaborative environment.
