Primary Responsibilities

  • Software Development & Optimization: Support the design and implementation of software solutions, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code. Assist with efforts in debugging, and optimization for large-scale systems.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS degree in computer science or related technical degree plus 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or MS degree in computer science or related technical degree plus 1-2 years of prior relevant experience…
  • Strong experience with object-oriented programming in multiple languages such as java, C++, and C#.
  • Strong experience using Gitlab CI/CD.

Today, Electronic Warfare is a growing enterprise - protecting the warfighter and our national security against ever-adapting threats. Our EW division currently has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to perform design, development, and hardware/software integration in San Diego, CA.

Leidos is a DOD leader in electronic design and chiplet manufacture. Our division primarily focuses on research & development and advanced prototyping, transforming state-of-the-art processing algorithms into real-time software systems. Projects involve small multi-disciplinary teams of engineers working together in spiral or agile development environments to meet aggressive customer schedules aimed at near-term field demonstrations. Leidos utilizes its proprietary design methodology for hardware software co-design to manufacture custom SoC and IP for high performance applications.

In this role, the Software Engineer will develop and maintain APIs written in Python and MATLAB used to control Hardware Test Equipment, design and build a GUI to serve as a user-facing interface for the Leidos SoC products, and develop complex, highly integrated testing system for RF signal processing applications.

Join a team of experts in implementing high-performance signal processing on custom system-on-chip (SoC) hardware and building the tools that enable analysis, rapid prototyping, and deployment of cutting-edge algorithms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to design and development of advanced systems as a part of multi-disciplinary teams.  These teams are made up of other software team members and subject matter experts from the areas of systems engineering, hardware, firmware, RF front end design, and signal processing.
  • Designing, implementing, and testing object-oriented applications in Python/MATLAB
  • Designing, implementing, and testing software to configure and control RF hardware devices
  • Integrating low-level software with a user-facing GUI
  • Developing Hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) tests to validate low-level software APIs
  • Designing and implementing test framework for implementing HITL tests and deploying applications in HITL test environments
  • Documentation of the developed test software and embedded systems
  • Clearly communicating technical details of test software to internal and external engineers

This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise-wide PKI solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and Design: Lead the design and architecture of a scalable, resilient, and secure PKI infrastructure.
  • Implementation and Management: Deploy, configure, and manage all aspects of the PKI environment, including Certificate Authorities (CAs), Registration Authorities (RAs), and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
  • Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts (using Python, Bash, or similar) to streamline certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, and revocation.

Leidos’ Corporate Information Security Office, reporting through the Digital Modernization sector, is seeking an Information Technology Team Manager. This is a primarily hands-on technical role responsible for supporting and enhancing the enterprise IT environment across both Windows and Linux platforms with a focus on system reliability, performance, and security. The role includes leadership responsibilities involving team coordination, mentorship, and serving as the primary Information Technology (IT) decision maker. In this role, you will be accountable for the management and technical administration of the Information System (IS) in accordance with internal and external security requirements, overseeing day-to-day testing, implementation, deployment, maintenance, and administration of cyber systems or networks and their infrastructure hardware and software. Primary Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems in a secure, stable, and scalable manner
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
  • Collaborate with IA, engineering, and operations teams to deliver IT services
  • Continuous upkeep, monitoring, analysis, and response to Information System, network and security events.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently hold Active TOP SECRET / SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 12 – 15 years related experience in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or a master’s with 6 – 10 years of related experience. Additional relevant experience, training, and / or certifications may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Current hold DoDM 8140 IAT Level II certification.
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems (workstation & server), Linux, and system virtualization (multiple hypervisors) in a secure network environment.
  • Detailed understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST, ICD, and CNSS standards.
  • Experience with compliance scanning tools (e.g. SCAP) and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. ACAS).
  • Familiarity with network technologies (LAN & WAN) and best practices within a classified environment to include crypto and key management.
  • Hands on experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation and management.
  • Good writing and verbal presentation skills.

Basic Qualifications
