Basic Qualifications

Today, Electronic Warfare is a growing enterprise - protecting the warfighter and our national security against ever-adapting threats. Our EW division currently has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to perform design, development, and hardware/software integration in San Diego, CA.

Leidos is a DOD leader in electronic design and chiplet manufacture. Our division primarily focuses on research & development and advanced prototyping, transforming state-of-the-art processing algorithms into real-time software systems. Projects involve small multi-disciplinary teams of engineers working together in spiral or agile development environments to meet aggressive customer schedules aimed at near-term field demonstrations. Leidos utilizes its proprietary design methodology for hardware software co-design to manufacture custom SoC and IP for high performance applications.

In this role, the Software Engineer will develop and maintain APIs written in Python and MATLAB used to control Hardware Test Equipment, design and build a GUI to serve as a user-facing interface for the Leidos SoC products, and develop complex, highly integrated testing system for RF signal processing applications.

Join a team of experts in implementing high-performance signal processing on custom system-on-chip (SoC) hardware and building the tools that enable analysis, rapid prototyping, and deployment of cutting-edge algorithms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Contributing to design and development of advanced systems as a part of multi-disciplinary teams.  These teams are made up of other software team members and subject matter experts from the areas of systems engineering, hardware, firmware, RF front end design, and signal processing.
• Designing, implementing, and testing object-oriented applications in Python/MATLAB
• Designing, implementing, and testing software to configure and control RF hardware devices
• Integrating low-level software with a user-facing GUI
• Developing Hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) tests to validate low-level software APIs
• Designing and implementing test framework for implementing HITL tests and deploying applications in HITL test environments
• Documentation of the developed test software and embedded systems
• Clearly communicating technical details of test software to internal and external engineers
• Supporting system field testing and collection events, usually about a week in duration once or twice a year

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Linux PKI Engineer with experience in Linux and Windows Virtualization platforms to join our dynamic Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Public Key Infrastructure with a strong background in Linux systems. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise-wide PKI solutions. You will play a critical role in the security of our digital communications and transactions, ensuring robust and reliable certificate management across our entire infrastructure. This role operates within large-scale, geographically distributed environments supporting high-availability and mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and Design: Lead the design and architecture of a scalable, resilient, and secure PKI infrastructure.
• Implementation and Management: Deploy, configure, and manage all aspects of the PKI environment, including Certificate Authorities (CAs), Registration Authorities (RAs), and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
• Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts (using Python, Bash, or similar) to streamline certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, and revocation.
• Linux System Administration: Manage and maintain the underlying Linux-based systems hosting the PKI services, ensuring high availability and performance.
• HSM Management: Administer and maintain Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) to ensure the security of cryptographic keys.
• Policy and Governance: Develop, implement, and enforce PKI policies, standards, and procedures.
• Compliance and Accreditation: Support RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes, ensuring PKI systems align with STIG requirements, security controls, and accreditation standards. Assist with auditing activities and provide artifacts/evidence for system authorization.
• Troubleshooting: Serve as the highest level of escalation for complex PKI-related issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with application, network, and other infrastructure teams to integrate PKI and provide certificate management solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in a dedicated PKI engineering role.

• PKI Expertise: In-depth knowledge of PKI concepts, including X.509, certificate lifecycle management, CRL, OCSP, and SCEP.

Leidos’ Corporate Information Security Office, reporting through the Digital Modernization sector, is seeking an Information Technology Team Manager. This is a primarily hands-on technical role responsible for supporting and enhancing the enterprise IT environment across both Windows and Linux platforms with a focus on system reliability, performance, and security. The role includes leadership responsibilities involving team coordination, mentorship, and serving as the primary Information Technology (IT) decision maker. In this role, you will be accountable for the management and technical administration of the Information System (IS) in accordance with internal and external security requirements, overseeing day-to-day testing, implementation, deployment, maintenance, and administration of cyber systems or networks and their infrastructure hardware and software. To be successful, you need to be adaptable to diverse office situations, procedures, and demands, and maintain a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Location: All work will be performed on-site at our Aurora, CO office.

Clearance: You must currently hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to qualify.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems in a secure, stable, and scalable manner
• Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
• Collaborate with IA, engineering, and operations teams to deliver IT services
• Continuous upkeep, monitoring, analysis, and response to Information System, network and security events.
• Develop procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with Configuration Management (CM) for security relevant IS software, hardware, and firmware.
• Develop, implement and enforce Information Security Policies and Procedures.
• Documents compliance activities in accordance with the governing authority approved authorization package.
• Ensure proper protection and / or corrective measures have been taken when an incident or vulnerability has been discovered.
• Ensures records are maintained for workstations, servers, software, routers, firewalls, network switches, and other relevant hardware/equipment throughout the information system’s life cycle.
• Ensures systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with the governing authority approved authorization package and customer directives.
• Evaluates proposed changes or additions to the information system and advises senior site leadership of the security relevance.
• Help prioritize work, coordinate tasks, and drive accountability within the team
• Lead / conduct security IS education and training.
• Mentor other engineers in the art of cybersecurity and secure software development practices.
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and implement long-term fixes
• Participate and remain active within the Change Control Board (CCB) process.

• Working with ISSM and FSO investigations of computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary to both the Facility Security and Senior Program Managers.
• Working with the ISSM and FSO, author, review and update IS Authorization documentation (Body of Evidence) to support IS Assessment and Authorization activities.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently hold Active TOP SECRET / SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree and 12 – 15 years related experience in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or a master’s with 6 – 10 years of related experience. Additional relevant experience, training, and / or certifications may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Current hold DoDM 8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems (workstation & server), Linux, and system virtualization (multiple hypervisors) in a secure network environment.
• Detailed understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST, ICD, and CNSS standards.
• Experience with compliance scanning tools (e.g. SCAP) and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. ACAS).
• Familiarity with network technologies (LAN & WAN) and best practices within a classified environment to include crypto and key management.
• Hands on experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation and management.
• Good writing and verbal presentation skills.
• Must be able to work in a constantly changing regulatory environment with short-, mid-, and long-term timelines for remediating any non-compliance.
• Must be able to work well within a team environment and able to adapt quickly to change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional desired certifications include: CISSP, CCNA, CCSP, MCSE, and/or SANS GIAC, Linux RHCSA, CompTIA Linux, LCFS/LCFE, OS Certification (MCSE Win7 or other).
• DoD Information Systems (IS) knowledge and experience.
• Experience developing and delivering modern software, including micro services, containers, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience ServiceNow RMF Workflow Management Tool.
• Familiarity with administering Microsoft SharePoint, including site collection configuration, permissions management, and document library/list administration.
• Knowledge automated test tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter.
• Knowledge of agile development processes and DevOps tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle concepts: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), DevOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD).
• Security hardening scripting/automation experience.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability/quality scanning tools (e.g., Fortify, SonarQube).

Overview

We’re looking for a highly skilled macOS Endpoint Engineer to join a fast-paced enterprise environment supporting and scaling Apple device management using Workspace ONE UEM. This role is hands-on and critical to ensuring secure, efficient, and automated management of macOS devices across the organization.

You’ll own the full device lifecycle—from enrollment and configuration to patching, compliance, and advanced troubleshooting—while driving automation and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and scale a fleet of macOS devices using Workspace ONE UEM
• Design, implement, and maintain macOS configurations, policies, and system environments
• Package and deploy applications (PKG/DMG), scripts, and updates
• Build and optimize Automated Device Enrollment (DEP/ADE) workflows
• Automate device provisioning and management using bash scripting
• Monitor OS updates, patch compliance, and device health across the fleet
• Enforce security baselines and ensure compliance with enterprise policies
• Provide L3 support for complex macOS issues and perform root cause analysis
• Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Help Desk teams to improve processes
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
• Support end users post-deployment to ensure a seamless macOS experience

What You Bring

• 5+ years managing macOS in enterprise environments
• 2+ years hands-on with Workspace ONE UEM (macOS-focused)

Leidos has an exciting opening for you, our next Cloud Cyber Security Engineer, to play a critical role in the accreditation of a state-of-the-art technology stack under the DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) where we support our client’s mission to centralize and standardize Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED) of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) across the Defense and Intelligence Community enterprises. As a Cloud Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical security expertise in securing, hardening, and maintaining compliance of cloud-based software platforms and infrastructure across multiple secure networks. MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Principal Cloud Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

The Senior Principal Cloud Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructures in support of mission-critical operations, with a strong focus on security monitoring and threat detection. This role supports complex cloud environments by leveraging modern DevOps tools and practices, collaborating across teams to solve technical challenges.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supporting AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP cloud services and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to specific cloud environments while implementing cloud security best practices.
• Leveraging Azure data services, including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel, to ensure security posture and compliance.
• Writing and maintaining automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI and executing them using Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Configuring network security groups (NSGs), application gateways, and other network controls to protect cloud resources.
• Managing cloud compute, storage, networking, and database services while applying security compliance standards across the organization.
• Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of IT experience in lieu of a degree
• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering and/or development
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or Docker.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, or BICEP.
• Familiarity with cloud template technologies including GitHub Enterprise and architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Experience automating workflows using scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, or JSON.
• Experience meeting security requirements in the Sponsor’s environment or similar complex environments.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security) or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with container technologies such as Kubernetes and experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS)-199, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-53A, NIST SP 800-37, and DoD Cloud Security Requirements Guide

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related field and at least 10 years of experience working as an AI architect, data scientist, or AI application engineer. Applicants with a Master’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience are also eligible. Must have deep learning expertise and leadership experience.

Candidates must be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time after hire, with acceptable timing determined by hiring manager. An active Top Secret clearance at time of hire and eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information (SAPI) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), including willingness to submit to a counterintelligence polygraph, are desirable. Due to the nature of work performed in our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced AI architect with a robust background in Deep Learning (DL), advanced data visualization, software development, and full Machine Learning (ML) lifecycle management
