Position Summary:
This candidate will perform analysis, design, and implementation of software and enhancements for the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES) application (external/). Responsible for successfully implementing the code on the operational system, including full integration and testing.
Primary Duties:
• Work diligently on the maintenance of legacy systems as well as on future cloud-based systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a deeply technical engineer who lives and breathes AI infrastructure - someone who can build, deploy, and scale production LLM systems from bare metal to browser. This is not a prompt-engineering role. We need someone who understands how transformers actually work, can diagnose bottlenecks at the infrastructure level, and builds reliable, observable systems around fundamentally probabilistic models.
