We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in developing the forefront of unmanned and autonomous ship development for the US Government. Based in Arlington, VA, you will be embedded within an Agile Scrum team – designing, building, and testing software that powers some of the nation’s most critical maritime programs. The candidate will help to lead projects of significant national importance, guiding the transformation of existing vessels into autonomous platforms and supporting the development of new ships from concept through deployment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code and update software for new features and performance improvements.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Serve as technical lead for small projects, providing direction and ensuring technical quality.

• Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering professional growth and elevating team capabilities.

• Perform peer reviews of software, ensuring quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.

• Drive continuous process improvement, collaborating with the team to optimize workflows, tools, and engineering practices.

Basic Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM field plus 8+ years of professional software development experience, or 6+ years of professional experience with a Master’s degree.
• Understanding of data structures.
• Professional experience using C++ and Linux.
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system.
• Experience with software source control and configuration management tools.
• Significant experience working in a team environment, including experience providing guidance and coaching other developers
• Exposure to one or more of the following: high availability, sensor fusion, target tracking, path planning, communications systems, or military systems integration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
• Familiarity with automated build processes (Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.)
• Professional experience using Java and front-end development frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience designing complex systems, considering performance and user requirements.
• Experience with interface communication standards / protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and DDS.
• Familiarity with game theory, artificial intelligence, petri nets, safety critical software.
• Demonstrated experience with Docker and Kubernetes (RKE2) in containerization, Kubernetes management and automation technologies.

• Proficient in applying vector geometry concepts for spatial analysis, modeling, and problem-solving in simulation environments.

Leidos is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support mission-critical database, systems, and infrastructure operations at a Government customer site at Springfield, VA. The selected candidate will serve as a database subject matter expert, lead database efforts, and work independently to meet critical mission objectives in a secure, high-pressure enterprise environment.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with Oracle 19c, enterprise infrastructure, secure database deployments, and DoD-compliant systems. The DBA will collaborate with system administrators, storage administrators, network administrators, mission application teams, internal stakeholders, and external customers to resolve complex issues that span the application, database, operating system, network, and storage layers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and support Oracle 19c databases across production, development, and test environments.
• Lead database activities, including planning, assigning, tracking, documenting, and reporting task progress.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.
• Security+ certification or ability to meet DoD 8570 compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field and 12-15+ years of DBA experience, or Master’s degree and 10+ years of DBA experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c or higher.
• Strong expertise with Oracle ASM and Oracle Grid Infrastructure.

Leidos’ Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) operation is seeking a Systems Test Engineer in Vista, CA to join our cross-functional engineering team using cutting edge technology to develop truly novel solutions that make travel and trade safer, healthier, and more efficient on a global level.   As a member of the Leidos Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) team, you will be joining a diverse and dedicated group who are excited about producing industry leading screening technology.  Our team produces a comprehensive suite of fully automated and integrated products for aviation, shipping ports, border crossings, and critical infrastructure customers.  These systems provide threat detection by screening baggage, cargo, and people at checkpoints around the world.

The Systems Test Engineer collaborates with Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Training, Field Service, and customers across the development lifecycle to qualify and sustain Leidos security detection products at the factory and in the field. This role requires experience with integrated systems, including software and hardware testing, and proficiency in Linux and Windows environments. You will work closely with Lead Engineers to understand data flows and interface control documents, developing test strategies for end-to-end verification of device communications and imaging. Responsibilities include expanding automated testing, executing automation strategies, measuring effectiveness via KPIs, and integrating new tools and technologies. Formal test reporting and documentation are required.

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the deployment, operation, and security of our healthcare software platforms including our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and our end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and billing platform. In this role, you will be the primary owner of how our applications are built, shipped, run, monitored, and secured in production. This is the first dedicated DevOps role at our company, and it is being created to formalize and grow this function as we scale. You will own the full scope of our application infrastructure on a day-to-day basis, with our Lead Software Developers serving as backup support for production emergencies and after-hours coverage. This position is focused exclusively on our software product infrastructure the servers, cloud resources, containers, pipelines, and tooling that support our applications. You will not be responsible for general corporate IT systems such as file shares, remote desktop servers, internal VPNs, or end-user device management. Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
2. Leverage Python development skills to create, maintain, and improve our software applications.
3. Utilize PostGreSQL to manage and manipulate databases to meet business requirements.
4. Work with AWS to manage cloud-based resources and services.
5. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on software engineering principles and technologies, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
6. Conduct thorough peer reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
7. Lead a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative environment while driving the team towards project goals.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
9. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of professional experience in software development, specifically with Python, PostGreSQL, and AWS.
3. Proven experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
4. Demonstrated expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in software development.
5. Extensive experience conducting peer reviews and leading software development teams.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
