The Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology seeks a physician leader to serve as Director of the Division of Laboratory Medicine . Reporting to the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs, you will lead the clinical, academic, and educational missions of laboratory medicine across the enterprise. You will partner with operational leadership, mentor a diverse faculty, and steward laboratory strategy during a period of expansion, including new laboratory space and increased reference testing opportunities. This is an opportunity to step into a strong foundation, bring vision to a respected program, and influence care delivery across one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This Senior Manager, AI Product Development, Digital Solutions position can work out of our Santa Clara, CA location.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Define the strategy to build a high performing AI product development team. Formulate team goals to support business growth objectives, performance management, recruit, develop and retain talent to support business needs.
  • Provide technical and functional leadership for a highly skilled Product AI team (data engineers, ML Ops engineers, software architects, software engineers) to accomplish team goals. ​Responsible for on-time and high-quality delivery of product focused AI solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams across Digital Solutions and Medical Device divisions.

  • Challenge and coach team members as well as external partners to push for optimal insights and optimized/tailored/high-impact scalable AI/ML solutions.
  • Develop team processes, prioritize work, develop team roadmaps and deliverables, and provide hands on coaching and review of work performed by team.
  • Define and ensure implementation of data science standards for exploration, development, and deployment.
  • Develop budget estimates, obtain capital resources to deliver business goals. Contribute to business unit and divisional strategy planning.
  • Provide mentorship and career development oversight for direct report employees.

What You’ll Work On

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Medical Device Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Abbott medical devices to physicians, medical laboratories, distributors, and hospitals within an assigned territory. Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum two (2) years calibration experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Minimum one (1) year calibration experience operating to ISO 17025, ISO 9001 standards in a private, public, government, or military environment.
