What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain unit average required by store

The Opportunity

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for all BD activities and strategy development to drive US Navy services support growth. BDM will develop and execute the marketing and BD strategy in support of our Navy account. The position will be the creative and trusted agent of the Division Management and Functional Management to drive a culture of innovation and capture excellence. Responsible for the customer call plans. The candidate must thrive in an environment where they are responsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals. In addition to building a qualified pipeline of opportunities, the BDM will help shape customer requirements, translate tacit customer needs into actionable features, drive differentiation in Leidos’ solutions and help create a compelling value proposition. The ideal candidate will have previously served as a business development manager and/or capture manager with proven experience supporting Navy customers.

The candidate is expected to be a critical partner with the technology team and solution architects and coalesce the division’s strategy along with the technology strategy. They should have experience efficiently managing investments in marketing and Bid and Proposal (B&P) funds.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Grow the opportunity pipeline, to include existing as well as adjacent markets/customers, through diligent and timely identification/qualification of new business opportunities.

  • Lead and participate in the identification, qualification and pursuit of strategic business opportunities, and opportunities greater than $50M in value.
  • Assign and optimize growth resources amongst competing priorities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a BA degree in a technical field and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a new business pipeline by identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and closing prospects through outcome selling methods.
  • Identify estimated sales volume and probability of success to inform appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and create selling strategies within the Bunzl new business development framework for successful new account generation.
  • Maintain consistent outreach to identified leads and use provided system (e.g., activity tracking workbook, CRM software) to report on weekly sales activity. Actively update contact and new account information within system on a consistent basis.
  • Successfully achieve financial goals and new business development metrics monthly.
  • Lead contract negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making process, and overcome objections to capture new business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop value-based proposals. Build proposals by building client relationships by understanding desired outcome(s) and necessary solutions to meet outcomes by maximizing Bunzl’s offering. Oversee all new contracts through to close.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on pipeline, sales activity, and other appropriate metrics.
  • Identify and attend tradeshows, channel-specific conferences, and other events that generate qualified new business leads. Report on all event activity.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, competitor business, retail prospects, and best practices in business development.
  • Provide support to other sales and marketing functions, as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 7+ years’ of demonstrated success in sales and/or business development in a client-facing environment.
  • Retail experience highly preferred, with emphasis on Grocery
  • A self-starter with the ability to identify and prioritize opportunities throughout the sales solicitation process.

As a Welder, you will perform organizational-level (O Level) maintenance and repairs to maintain and restore metal components aboard berthing barges. Core duties include:
• Maintain, repair, fabricate, and replace metal components for barges and installed equipment.

HII is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team supporting the Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces (COMUSFLTFORCOM) Berthing and Messing Program, which operates duty crew berthing barges that provide essential living and working spaces for crews during ship overhaul and repair periods.

Essential Job Responsibilities

As a Welder, you will perform organizational-level (O Level) maintenance and repairs to maintain and restore metal components aboard berthing barges. Core duties include:
• Maintain, repair, fabricate, and replace metal components for barges and installed equipment.
• Perform welding tasks on light, heavy gauge, and hardened metals using flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Apply welding processes including preheating, brazing, bead welding, tack welding, flame cutting, pressure welding, and heat treating.
• Provide adequate fire watch and fire extinguishing equipment during welding operations; comply with NAVSEA and OSHA hot work standards.
• Inform COR/ACOR prior to any welding, burning, or open flame work and obtain required approvals.

A successful NDT Level III has a strong drive to learn and successfully certifies as an NDT Level III. An NDT Level III provides oversight of NDT programs by managing training, certification, and auditing; supporting daily NDT operations; developing and approving testing methods; ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and government standards; leading Ultrasonic ( UT ) certification efforts; and supporting the calibration and upkeep of NDT equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepares for certification exams and successfully pass es MIL-STD-2132 UT Examiner and ASNT UT Level III tests.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for administering established credit policies and procedures, managing accounts receivable collections, and analyzing customer credit accounts. This role resolves disputed balances within assigned authority levels, maintains accurate credit records, and supports order processing within defined credit parameters.
