Job Description:

Summary

The Financial Systems Analyst supports financial operations by analyzing and optimizing financial and core systems data, generating insightful reports and collaborating on the implementation of new financial technologies.  The position works closely with internal partners to ensure accuracy, efficiency and continual improvement of financial data and reporting processes.  The role will focus on deposit and customer related data and systems. You will also assist and collaborate with other members of the financial systems team, including providing support and back up for other systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor financial / core system configurations to ensure functionality and synergy of various banking applications.
  • Troubleshoot system configuration, integration and workflow as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining financial application interfaces as needed.
  • Collaborate with Data Owners to improve data accuracy and consistency across all systems. Apply validation routines and periodic audits of data as necessary.
  • Assist in development and enhancement of actionable reports for both management and the operations team, including performing ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Proactively question current practices; identify root cause issues and process improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with end-users to identify system limitations and develop potential solutions, including appropriate internal control tools.
  • Assist in performing and researching balancing of core banking applications (Loan/Deposit) to the general ledger.
  • Participate in projects as needed.
  • Document department processes and procedures as needed.
  • Perform other accounting, finance and reporting related projects and tasks as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Banking industry experience preferred with experience related to banking core functionality, integration and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis and report writing tools (e.g. Excel, BIC, Power BI, Crystal Reports etc.)
  • Automation and problem-solving skills. The ability to utilize tools to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented along with critical thinking skills. Be able to draw conclusions from data – not just report it – and communicate in a simple, straight-forward manner.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills include the ability to prepare concise and coherent financial narratives and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills include the ability to organize and successfully complete simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Accounting / Financial statement preparation/review.

Education and/or Experience

The National Solutions Group at Leidos has an opening for a Voice Systems/Hardware Engineer. This position directly impacts go/no go launch decisions to support a client’s requirements in a challenging and dynamic setting located at Cape Canaveral Space Force Base. The Hardware Voice Engineer provides on-site and remote support to critical voice systems directly impacting United States space launches. This position requires a skill level higher than a standard telephony technician. The person applying for this position must also have expertise with servers, network switches, phone systems, and various types of conferencing equipment. The successful candidate will be required to execute, refine, and supervise the processes and procedures of Voice System Engineering operations in a purpose-built enterprise environment throughout the operational lifecycle of customer directed mission applications.  The VS/HW Engineer will work in a highly collaborative environment with teammates, key stakeholders and the Government customer to ensure mission continuity and support to the IC community.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides installation, configuration, and testing (IC&T) of Avaya phone instruments for all customers.
  • Provides IC&T of Compunetix’ Mission Critical Conferencing Systems console instruments in support of launch customers.
  • Provide configurations of Mission Voice Platform (MVP) high-capacity mission voice switch. The MVP features are native support for both T1 and IP connectivity. Mission operators interface with the system using a wide variety of Compunetix-built user consoles.
  • Provide system level engineering support mission critical IT systems, related telecommunications trunk circuits, voicemail and telephone instrument units.
  • Provide systems engineering support to enterprise voice over IP (VoIP) phone systems including Cisco VoIP phone units, voicemail and Call Manager System.
  • Provide consistent execution of Voice availability and reliability through the direction of proactive engineering methodologies and request fulfillment activities
  • Develop and implement technical solutions through deep analysis and understanding of impact to the end-product/solution
  • Ensures the availability of mission critical launch communications systems through proactive voice systems IT systems engineering
  • Performs incident and problem management to resolve or escalate issues in order to restore service
  • Supports configuration management and change management activities

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Requires BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree are acceptable.
  • Current DoD 8570 certification applicable to the position (typically Security+)
  • Must understand complex, classified, mission specific communications infrastructure and technology that specifically supports US strategic launch capabilities

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

A Day in the Life of the Direct Sales Lead:
