GENERAL SUMMARY:

Act as the point of contact for customers. Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs. Stock merchandise adequately. GENERAL SUMMARY:

Act as the point of contact for customers. Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs. Stock merchandise adequately. Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting company assets. DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Unload trucks.
  • Follow company work processes to receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move directly to sales floor.
  • Build merchandise displays.
  • Stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
  • Restock recovered merchandise.
  • Assist customers by locating merchandise.
  • Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restroom and stockroom.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Greet customers.
  • Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total customer’s purchase; bag merchandise.
  • Collect payment from customer and make change.
  • Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners, as needed.
  • Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.

Qualifications KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of safety policies and practices.
  • Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
  • Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
  • Basic mathematical skills.

Security Business Operations focuses on the administrative security controls and processes that support the corporate security program, including the administrative governance of security policies, fiscal management, global access control management and pass administration functions.

Support the global corporate security program through hands-on execution of site-based physical security and security business operations activities.

Serve as a key on-site security resource for the Boston location, maintaining a visible security presence and supporting daily operational needs.

Conduct regular security patrols, alarm testing, and physical inspections to ensure the safety of employees, facilities, and assets.

Monitor and support CCTV, access control, and pass administration processes, including badge creation.

Partner with site leadership, building management, contracted security providers, and external stakeholders (e.g., law enforcement and first responders) to support incident response, emergency preparedness, and ongoing security operations.

Prepare incident reports, assist with threat assessments, and support follow-up actions to mitigate identified risks.

Update and maintain administrative security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with enterprise standards.

Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency across security operations and administrative functions.

Assist with tracking departmental working hours and overtime, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines.

Integrate risk and control considerations into day-to-day responsibilities, escalating issues as appropriate.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

Works with the team to review deliverables and ensure quality and accuracy.
