Summary

The Financial Systems Analyst supports financial operations by analyzing and optimizing financial and core systems data, generating insightful reports and collaborating on the implementation of new financial technologies.  The position works closely with internal partners to ensure accuracy, efficiency and continual improvement of financial data and reporting processes.  The role will focus on deposit and customer related data and systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor financial / core system configurations to ensure functionality and synergy of various banking applications.
  • Troubleshoot system configuration, integration and workflow as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining financial application interfaces as needed.
  • Collaborate with Data Owners to improve data accuracy and consistency across all systems. Apply validation routines and periodic audits of data as necessary.
  • Assist in development and enhancement of actionable reports for both management and the operations team, including performing ad hoc analysis as needed.

Qualifications

  • Banking industry experience preferred with experience related to banking core functionality, integration and efficiency.

Description

The customer is undertaking a major redesign of its suite of tools to improve the workflow and efficiency of its analytic research, writing, review, coordination, and dissemination activities. The User Research Expert will support this effort by conducting empirical user research and translating findings into clear, actionable requirements that inform the design and development of its tool set.

The User Research Expert will conduct user research in support of analytic software, tools, and capabilities to clarify what kinds of understanding are required, where they should reside, and how they inform decisions at scale. This role bridges mission stakeholders and technical teams to ensure analytic systems align with real world analyst workflows, cognitive processes, and decision environments. User research functions as a risk reduction and tradecraft discipline, preventing investment in systems that are misaligned with how analysts think, reason, collaborate, and operate.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated proficiency in various research methods including:  conducting contextual inquiry, ethnographic observation, and shadowing studies; designing and facilitating structured and semi-structured user interviews; planning and moderating usability testing sessions and focus groups; creating surveys and analyzing quantitative feedback; performing heuristic evaluations and expert reviews; developing user personas, journey maps, workflow diagrams and service blueprints; analyzing in-app and behavioral data in conjunction with qualitive methods; and conducting jobs-to-be-done analysis and task analysis.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Using state-of-the-art knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques the User Research Expert will perform the following kinds of tasks:

  • Plan, conduct and document user research across all levels (interface, product and workflow/mission) appropriate to project phase and scope.
  • Proactively identify and recruit a roster of representative users, schedule and conduct user research sessions with Sponsor’s application users, and promptly document findings in written reports.
  • Create and maintain user personas, journey maps, workflow diagrams, and other research artifacts to communicate findings.
  • Analyze research data to identify behavioral patterns, pain points, unmet needs, and opportunities for improvement; synthesize research findings across multiple studies to identify systemic issues; and translate findings into actional recommendations for product, design and engineering teams.
  • Lead contextual inquiries, ethnographic observation, shadowing, interviews, workshops, surveys, usability testing sessions, and focus groups

Required Qualifications

The National Solutions Group at Leidos has an opening for a Voice Systems/Hardware Engineer. This position directly impacts go/no go launch decisions to support a client’s requirements in a challenging and dynamic setting located at Cape Canaveral Space Force Base. The Hardware Voice Engineer provides on-site and remote support to critical voice systems directly impacting United States space launches. This position requires a skill level higher than a standard telephony technician. The person applying for this position must also have expertise with servers, network switches, phone systems, and various types of conferencing equipment. The successful candidate will be required to execute, refine, and supervise the processes and procedures of Voice System Engineering operations in a purpose-built enterprise environment throughout the operational lifecycle of customer directed mission applications.  The VS/HW Engineer will work in a highly collaborative environment with teammates, key stakeholders and the Government customer to ensure mission continuity and support to the IC community.

  • Provide configurations of Mission Voice Platform (MVP) high-capacity mission voice switch. The MVP features are native support for both T1 and IP connectivity. Mission operators interface with the system using a wide variety of Compunetix-built user consoles.
  • Provide system level engineering support mission critical IT systems, related telecommunications trunk circuits, voicemail and telephone instrument units.
  • Provide systems engineering support to enterprise voice over IP (VoIP) phone systems including Cisco VoIP phone units, voicemail and Call Manager System.
  • Provide consistent execution of Voice availability and reliability through the direction of proactive engineering methodologies and request fulfillment activities
  • Develop and implement technical solutions through deep analysis and understanding of impact to the end-product/solution
  • Ensures the availability of mission critical launch communications systems through proactive voice systems IT systems engineering
  • Performs incident and problem management to resolve or escalate issues in order to restore service
  • Supports configuration management and change management activities

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Requires BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree are acceptable.

A Day in the Life of the Direct Sales Lead:

The Direct Sales Lead is an outside sales role responsible for driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and supporting the effectiveness of the Direct Sales team. This role serves as a subject matter expert, providing coaching, field support, and operational guidance to Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs).

What You’ll Do

  • Prioritize safety practices and precautions for yourself and others, adhering to company and industry regulations and protocols

  • Apply technical expertise of automated and robotic equipment when configuring and commissioning advanced automated and robotic production systems, coordinating robotics, CNC machinery, tooling, and HMIs within a manufacturing environment.

  • Provide high-level technical support for automated cells, diagnosing and resolving complex controls, robotics, and automation issues in partnership with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams

  • Monitor automation and CNC system performance, analyze data, and implement changes to improve safety, quality, throughput, and reliability

  • Support tooling and fixture changes from an automation/controls perspective, ensuring proper integration and validation within the cell

  • Design, develop, modify, and optimize programs for robots, PLCs, HMIs, and CNC automation system

  • Contribute and support automation projects from concept through commissioning, including integration of new equipment, sensors, and technologies into existing cells

  • Develop and maintain standard work, process documentation, and best practices for automated and robotic systems

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, quality, and operations to support continuous improvement initiatives and new product introductions

  • Stay abreast of new and evolving technologies and processes applicable to operations

  • Develop a strong understanding of union procedures and negotiated agreements, and their practical application

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Manufacturing, Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent experience in Automation
  • 5+ years of proven understanding and application of technical knowledge as it relates to automation systems, robotics, and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI)
  • Proven competency in writing, reading, and editing multiple CNC program languages
  • Comprehension and practical application of Lean practices, Six Sigma, and Continual Improvement disciplines and practices
  • Proven ability to apply tooling maintenance, machining processes, and part quality standards to effectively troubleshoot automation and CNC issues
