Key-qualifications:

  • The team looks for wide range of level and experience, typically from 3 years to 20 years.
  • Experience with GPU/CPU architecture and performance modeling.

  • Exposure to graphics algorithms/concepts such as rasterization, programmable shading, texturing, etc highly desired.

General Summary:

Qualcomm’s Chip Architecture multi-site team of systems engineers, hardware and software architects are driving analysis and defining next-generation architectures for our system-on-chip (SoC) products for mobile, automotive, Compute and other product categories.

We have an exciting and dynamic technical position available with a focus on SoC performance analysis. The successful candidate will engage collaboratively across the company to work with architects and engineers in core HW design & verification, SW, marketing, and product planning teams, to:

  • Engineer market-leading SoC products with best-in-class performance
  • Lead and conduct performance and systems studies

  • Effectively communicate and experimental results with technical leads and peers
  • Creatively overcome obstacles to obtain the answers to architectural questions
  • Invent and file patents on technical solutions to relevant problems

Position Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years System Engineering or related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or PHD degree
  • 7+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Industry experience required in one or more of the following areas:

Key Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to problem-solve and quickly research solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills in time management and resource allocation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of success in prior collection roles and owning an AR portfolio.
  • Commercial collection experience.
