The Systems Engineering (SE) Long Range Radars (LRR) department is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to contribute to concept development, architectural design, requirements generation and flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, testing, and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense and Sensor Systems. In this role, you will support the technical development and sustainment of the C5I product line, working on command-and-control systems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to define system requirements, design architectures and algorithms, and work closely with software development teams and onsite field support to ensure successful implementation.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will collaborate across disciplines and partner with Scrum teams to implement solutions, gaining exposure to every aspect of the system while directly contributing to its success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and supporting system architecture design and implementation.
  • Defining, documenting, and managing system requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining Interface Design Documentation.
  • Monitoring existing systems to identify bottlenecks, performing root cause analysis, and implementing improvements.
  • Analyzing data for operations center hardware, software, and simulations.
  • Using data analysis results to support issue identification and resolution.
  • Collaborating across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve technical challenges.
  • Assessing radar system performance data with respect to requirements.
  • Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Presenting plans, designs, and system performance assessments to peers, internal leadership, and external customers.
  • Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements.
  • This position will be on site in Tewksbury, MA.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Requirements Analysis and/or Management using DOORS.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering processes.
  • Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining processes, methods and/or tools.

  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and delivering technical solutions to complex problems.
