You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with IT operations or cybersecurity
  • 10+ years of experience leading technical solution development for large, complex organizations
  • Experience architecting ZT solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, OMB Mandates, and DoD ZT Reference Architecture
  • Experience leading product selection initiatives
  • Knowledge of the ZT technology ecosystem, including ZTNA, SSE, SASE, IDP, IDS, DLP, SWG, EDR, MFA, data tagging, or comply to connection ( C2C )
  • Knowledge of leading ICAM solutions, including MSFT Entra, AD, or LDAP, and how they are part of the ZT ecosystem

As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will be accountable for partner enablement goals by helping to develop and drive innovative technical programs while overseeing day-to-day technical account-level activities. About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Solution Architect to lead solution design and provide strategic guidance across complex enterprise software opportunities and implementation projects. This role partners closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to design scalable, high-impact solutions that drive successful outcomes for clients.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and consultative leadership, with the ability to translate complex requirements into innovative, long-term solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Strategy
Engage with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
Design scalable, forward-thinking solutions that align with both client objectives and long-term system performance
Provide expert guidance on leveraging platform capabilities effectively

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement
Partner with the sales team to qualify opportunities and understand client challenges
Lead workshops to uncover business needs and guide clients toward optimal solutions
Present solutions to technical and executive stakeholders, including enterprise architecture teams

Architecture & Documentation
Develop detailed solution architectures, including diagrams, data models, and process flows
Create Statements of Work (SOWs), technical documentation, and functional specifications
Review customer feedback and redlines on SOWs, identifying risks and ensuring alignment

Implementation Support
Support delivery teams during implementation to ensure solutions are executed as designed
Provide architectural guidance during build, testing, and deployment phases
Ensure adherence to best practices and non-functional requirements

Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Utilize modern tools (including AI-based prototyping tools) to demonstrate and validate solutions
Design reusable components and scalable extensions to improve efficiency and consistency
Partner with Product teams to advocate for enhancements based on customer needs

Leadership & Mentorship
Serve as a senior leader within the solution architecture team
Mentor and guide junior architects on technical design, architecture best practices, and client engagement
Contribute to thought leadership through white papers, technical content, and industry insights

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect within a complex software or consulting environment
13-15+ years of overall experience in project delivery and pre-sales support
Strong experience in solution design, client engagement, and enterprise architecture
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with web services, integrations, and API design
Background in pre-sales solution architecture and technical presentations
Experience with security and permissions design
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce ecosystem) is a plus
Ability to create high-quality wireframes, mockups, and technical documentation
Experience working in collaborative, team-oriented environments

Additional Information
Travel: Up to 20% as needed
