Position Overview
As a member of the DevOps team, the DevOps Engineer will design, build, and maintain stable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure environments required to deploy enterprise software across internal and external networks. This role leverages people, process, and technology to drive collaboration and innovation throughout the software development, operations, and release lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, customer-focused self-starter with a strong troubleshooting mindset and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Deployment
Design, build, and maintain stable infrastructure environments to support software deployment in cloud and client-hosted environments
Optimize infrastructure to meet project uptime and performance requirements
Implement automated infrastructure capabilities, including backups, security tooling, and monitoring solutions
Manage virtual machines and configurations using VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms
Install and configure proprietary, public, and third-party software across development, test, and production environments (includingcustomer environments)
Maintain detailed installation documentation and troubleshoot deployment issues
Kubernetes & Cloud Management
Install and manage Kubernetes clusters (bare metal and cloud-based)
Configure, deploy, and update pods and containers
Manage nodes, storage accounts, and cluster resources
Support provisioning and administration of cloud infrastructure, preferably in AWS
CI/CD & Automation
Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI
Manage configuration management (CM) automated installation processes
Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance processes for building, packaging, and deploying software
Identify and implement new tools to improve deployment and monitoring capabilities
Performance & Monitoring
Establish performance baselines and monitor system metrics
Track performance trends and identify product thresholds
Conduct system monitoring, OS patching, and application upgrades
Perform database imports/exports and execute complex SQL queries as needed
Collaboration & Release Management
Coordinate across Sales, Engineering, Support, Configuration Management, and Project Management teams
Support end-to-end software release rollouts to production environments
Maintain software release records for customer sites
Collaborate on architectural solutions for current and future deployments
Provide 24/7 on-call support to meet SLA and uptime commitments
Required Qualifications
3-6+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining on-premises and hosted infrastructure solutions
Experience as a DevOps Engineer in a scalable production environment
Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies within Agile development environments
Experience with Kubernetes and management platforms such as Rancher
Proficiency with Git-based version control (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, or PHP
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Go, JavaScript, or C++
Experience working with APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP)
Strong Linux and/or Windows system administration knowledge
Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Demonstrated experience managing multi-node clusters and performing common maintenance tasks (e.g., IP changes, node updates, storage reconfiguration)
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. Leidos is seeking a DevSecOps engineer across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.

This position will be hybrid remote. Candidates will be required to work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will be located near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) or work in Huntsville, AL.
Primary Responsibilities Could Include:
This individual will be responsible for developing in a scalable cloud-native solutions, and ensuring best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security. This is a hands-on technical role that requires rolling up your sleeves to architect, code, debug, and mentor.
Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for secure, automated software delivery.
Assist with the implementation of DevSecOps pipelines across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Deploy, configure, and support applications in cloud environments.

Collaborate with developers, QA, security, and operations teams to support secure software delivery.
Follow established DevSecOps standards, processes, and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors and Two to Four years or more of experience; Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret or have Secret clearance required
US citizenship required
Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)
Working knowledge of DevSecOps principles and Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
Experience supporting or administering cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Java, Go).
Understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and version control tools (Git).

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Product Engineer with deep expertise in DBT, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI/Tableau and AWS, who can architect and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance data products. This role will require strong technical skills across data modeling, distributed data processing, ELT pipeline development, and dashboarding, with an emphasis on automation, observability, and engineering best practices supporting our EU and UK commercial data warehouse.
You will be expected to design and deliver production-grade data pipelines and models, optimize query, and compute performance, and expose data to end users through well-structured semantic layers and dashboards. We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer - System Validation to own and operate two hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) systems. This role sits at the intersection of embedded software, FPGA, and CI/CD automation. You will ensure that both our satellite codebase and end-device SDK are thoroughly validated before deployment, working closely with DevOps and engineering teams.
This is ONSITE (Hybrid) in Seattle, WA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own, maintain, and extend two HIL validation systems:
Satellite HITL: Consisting of FPGA HDL, embedded Linux, and application-layer code in Python.
End-device HITL: Built on BLE SOMs, validating our SDK for terrestrial and satellite communication (C/Zephyr).
Develop test strategies and automation to validate embedded software and system-level performance.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate HIL systems into CI pipelines.
Create reproducible validation workflows and improve observability of test results.
Troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues across FPGA, embedded Linux, BLE stacks, and SDK layers.
Document validation frameworks, test coverage, and best practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Strong experience with embedded software development (C, C++, or similar).
Hands-on experience with system validation or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
Familiarity with Zephyr RTOS and BLE-based SOMs.
Exposure to HDL/FPGA, embedded Linux, and Python applications.
