The Data Platform team is responsible for everything that happens to our data once it’s taken off the trucks and all the way until it’s in our end users hands for training, visualization, or further post processing. We build tools, frameworks, infrastructure and services used by every team at Waabi in order to interact with the various types of data that we collect and extract. Our data is continuously growing, and we aim to provide efficient, reliable, and a performant system to support the data.

You will…
  • Be a part of a team of engineers that manages Waabi’s data lifecycle from vehicle offload through consumption.
  • Own the tools, pipelines, services and platform that compose Waabi’s cloud storage and data management infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain libraries for performant data access.
  • Collaborate with other teams at Waabi, including research scientists, ML and software engineers, system engineers and program managers to understand their uses and deliver features that improve our overall data ecosystem.
  • Track data usage and design retention polices to manage a rapidly and continuously growing amount of data.
  • Participate in the growth and planning for how our data platform scales over the next years.

Qualifications:
