What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be a key part of a small, high-performing team supporting enterprise IT systems and end users. You’ll:

  • Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
  • Manage and monitor client/server, storage, and network environments
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (escalation) support
  • Troubleshoot system issues and apply patches, updates, and configuration changes
  • Manage user accounts, password resets, VPN access, and PKI-related tasks
  • Configure and maintain Windows, Linux, and UNIX systems
  • Support virtualized and storage environments
  • Document processes, SOPs, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Contribute to reports and technical deliverables
  • Use ticketing systems and internal tools to track and resolve issues

You’ll also provide hands-on support to users both at headquarters and across the enterprise—delivering excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities.

Work Environment

  • On-site support: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Small team environment (<10 people) with strong collaboration
  • Direct interaction with end users and mission stakeholders

What You Bring

You’re a problem-solver who enjoys working in dynamic environments and supporting mission-critical systems.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator (or similar role)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. Experience can be used in lieu of degree
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required)
  • CompTIA Security+ (current)

Accepted Certifications (one required)

  • CompTIA Security+
  • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA-IT Infrastructure)
  • MCSA – Desktop (Windows 7 or Windows 8)
  • MCITP – Windows Client (Desktop Support or Desktop Administrator)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00

What you will do

  • Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
  • Responsible for contacting customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems.
  • Diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at customer sites.
  • Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. to repair equipment.
  • Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers’ Fire & Life Safety systems including SimplexGrinnell.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with the district staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as smart phones and laptop computers.
  • Obtain customer signature upon completed service call assignment.
  • Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation.
  • Help to train or mentor others on the service team.
  • Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
  • As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How you will do it

  • This skilled position involves troubling shooting and repairing installed systems. Including panel repair/reprogram, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles and system testing.
  • Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
  • Candidate must possess excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills.
  • Position involves the programming of fire alarm, security, and access control system panels.
  • Experience CCTV and IT and IP networks a plus.
  • Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
  • On call and after-hours work required on occasion at customer need.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.
  • Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

What we look for

Required:

  • 2 plus years’ experience with fire alarm, access control, security intrusion, sound and communications systems
  • Must be able to interpret blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
  • A good working knowledge of computers is necessary.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Overnight travel may be required sometimes.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide software backup and version control services for multiple projects at a time. This includes both internally created software as well as management of 3rd party provided software.

  • The Application Analyst creates the test scripts for the application, executes the test scripts, and documents all test outcomes, including troubleshooting and support these activities apply to implementation, upgrade, and maintenance initiatives,
  • The Application Analyst is responsible for addressing basic user or build issues, recommending mitigation plans and escalating more complex issues,
  • The Application Analyst also provides on-call support for the application through go-live and beyond,

Job Description :

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of healthcare IT experience is preferred
  • Epic certification is required and 5 + years build experience within the Hospital Billing Epic module is required
  • Functional knowledge of EHR software
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Billing workflow knowledge
  • Ability to effectively work cross-functionally with other application teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, test, implement, support, and maintain functionality related to the Professional Billing Epic module
  • Create, test, and document new build, workflows, changes, etc.
  • Manage multiple jobs at one time, balancing resources, priorities, deadlines and time.
  • Assist other application teams in understanding user needs and problems in order to determine feasibility of solutions.
  • Mentors team members as necessary, and informs leadership of all events pertaining to the operations of assigned modules and projects.
  • Manage help desk tickets, phone calls, emails, etc.
  • Always look for ways to improve the patient experience
