Working in our Investor Center, you will engage face-to-face with your customers, offering guidance and personalized planning, while helping extend the reach of the firm’s brand. We fully support you with an open architecture product platform and top resources in the financial industry, while you nurture relationships with an existing client base.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
Previous success in building relationships, uncovering needs and recommending solutions
FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, OR ability to acquire Series 66 upon hire
Keen ability to present complex solutions to a knowledgeable client base while building rapport and credibility
Degree and/or other professional certifications are helpful; if you do not already have a CFP or degree, our Tuition Reimbursement program can help you obtain one

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

Overview
Our client, a private commercial real estate investment firm, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations across a diverse portfolio of properties. This hands-on role works closely with senior leadership and serves as a key point of contact for property accounting matters.
Responsibilities
• Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple properties and related entities, including month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP and produce Budget vs. Actual reports with variance analysis
• Oversee treasury activities, monitor cash balances, and execute payments
• Maintain and administer lease data within the accounting system, including new leases and amendments
• Calculate and bill Percentage Rent and ensure accurate posting of tenant charges and adjustments
• Perform year-end reconciliations and ensure proper allocation of recoverable expenses
• Manage the full Accounts Payable process and ensure timely vendor payments
• Track project-related allowances, process draw requests, and maintain tax and payment schedules
• Serve as a financial point of contact for tenants, process receipts, and manage Accounts Receivable aging
• Handle manual payments and off-cycle processing as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive commercial property accounting experience with full-cycle responsibility for multiple properties
• Advanced proficiency in property accounting software such as Yardi Voyager
• Strong understanding of retail lease structures, Percentage Rent, and common lease provisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reconciliations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative office environment

What You’ll Do
You will play a significant role to help Human Landing Systems (HLS) ensure a robust fire safety approach for the use of its flight hardware in an elevated oxygen environment. You will act as the primary integration leader between the HLS Program and HLS Crew Compartment Office, test project management/test execution, and commercial providers. In this integration role, you will perform integration and provide integration leadership for fire safety testing, serve as an interface to commercial providers, collaborate with multiple discipline leads and management, and lead resolution of significant technical issues that require integration across multiple disciplines and organizations. You will apply extensive experience in engineering integration, testing, fire safety, communication, and leadership to help HLS chart a successful path forward to its certification milestones.

You bring extensive engineering leadership experience across multiple disciplines and experience in fire and material combustion test planning and integration. What you’ll do
Viasat’s Carlsbad Secure Network Systems (SNS) Department needs an experienced Technical Writer to assist in generating technical documents related to software/hardware, installation/operation/maintenance manuals, security configuration, network architecture, system interface, data flow, and other related to customer deliverables Furthermore, the writer will assist in managing the subsequent products produced from those efforts (e.g., Agile, Perforce, etc.) and any repositories where such information is actively being worked or stored (e.g., Wiki pages, SharePoint, etc.).
The writer will lead documentation efforts with engineering support for various teams within the SNS group. Their primary focus will be to handle Program Manager and Engineering support requests and will use other Technical Publication team members for surge support when required. They will work out of Carlsbad, but be expected to support the SNS group at any Viasat location.
The writer will be embedded with the SNS group to achieve the Technical Publications team’s 80%-20% support goal; attaining an 80% solution with 20% engineering engagement. Embedding a writer allows them to build relationships, trust, and build historical knowledge so they can promptly and effectively engage in arising tasks. Their activities will largely be governed by the SNS group (i.e., SNS team members will directly interact with the writer, while the Technical Publications Manager will oversee adherence to Viasat standards, additional support requests, and general personnel related concerns).
The Technical Writer must have excellent written, interviewing, interpersonal, analysis, and software skills to gather and synthesize information from a variety of sources. The writer must be able to read, understand, maintain, and develop schematics, Solution Design Documents (SDD), Interface Control Documents (ICD), Subcontract Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs) / Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), network architecture diagrams, security plans, proposals, presentations, and all variety of manuals.
