Customer Accounts Advisor

Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customer, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customers are 100% satisfied with the product. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with our customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them one-step closer to ownership.

The Work

  • Attainment and upkeep of customers’ accounts including maintaining updated customer information in the store computer system and documenting all customer payment appointments.
  • Direct contact with customers who have not renewed their Lease agreement(s) both in home visits and over the phone
  • Sell customers on the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals
  • Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management
  • Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned
  • Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheet and route sheets daily
  • Load, secure and protect product in company vehicle
  • Safely operate company vehicle
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed
  • Any reasonable duties requested by management

Requirements

  • United States at least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy; including satisfactory MVR (driving record). Canada at least the age of 18.
  • Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States)
  • Ability to work schedule of hours varying from 8 am to 9 pm
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly
  • Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store and multitasking effectively
  • Proper telephone etiquette
  • Uphold the Aaron’s Brand and protect company assets
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Proficient computer skills

Description

The Homeland Sector within Leidos is seeking a C++ Full Stack Developer with strong systems, software, cloud, and Agile experience to support a complex program to provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems on a mission-critical program supporting the Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD) within Customs and Border Protection (CBP). PSPD supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and CBP critical missions, specifically screening and processing travelers at the ports of entry (POEs) into the United States

This position is focused on the devices attached to workstations and client applications associated with these areas including fingerprint readers and document scanners.  Leidos is looking for a software engineer that can code in C++ and help troubleshoot Windows environment issues arising with the devices.  Ideally, this individual will work independently and with other members of the Device team in research and evaluating new devices, develop code and wrappers layers for the devices, assist in the testing of the new devices and supporting deployment of the software and the devices to the workstations to ensure that all systems are working properly.  This position also requires an individual to support testing with all of the client application teams as part of the testing phase of the new devices.  In addition, this person must be available to support issues or concerns associated with the travelers if the need ever arrives.  This includes participating in on-call rotation over evenings, holidays and weekends if it is needed.

**This position REQUIRES the candidate to be in Ashburn, VA, twice a week*\

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Over 5-10 years of experience coding in C++, Java or other Window’s type languages.
  • BS/BA degree and 10 years of related experience or Master’s with 8 years of related experience; OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
  • Must be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Experience in Troubleshooting problems
  • Good Customer interaction and communication
  • Good communication skills including documentation and ticket resolution
  • On rare occasions, be willing to support the contract in evening, weekend, and holidays is ever needed
  • Willing to travel to the DC area once or twice a week (on-site visits to Ashburn and occasional visit to Dulles airport to support pilot projects)
  • Can work with a team or independently
  • Experience in Windows, Software Center, and looking into logs to determine cause of issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of fingerprint readers, cameras and document scanners
  • Knowledge of different type of travel documents
  • DHS BI clearance
  • Develop test cases for testers to use during the testing phase

What you will do

Under general direction, perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and/or replacement of HVAC Controls Systems & Equipment, Building Control Systems.

Mostly, work will involve Johnson Controls Metasys brand of building automation systems and controls products.

How you will do it

  • Experience with programming and/or troubleshooting in one or more of the following brands of HVAC Controls products is highly desired:  Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens, Delta, Distech, Carrier, ALC, and/or Andover.  Experience with BAS communication protocols should include one of the following:  BACnet MSTP, BACnet IP, N2, P1, Modbus, and/or LON.
  • Additionally, Technical Team Lead shall assist branch leadership with coaching and mentoring of branch technicians with the delivery of customer satisfaction and providing technical support and assistance with technical development for others in the HVAC Controls team.
  • Ensures work is being performed in compliance with company, state, local and Federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest level of ethics.
  • Properly completes all required company, customer, and service documentation.

  • Assists management with assuring proper field operational disciplines of other Technicians are followed.
  • Regularly provides input on development and training needs of the branch.
  • Assists in developing quotes and estimates for identified L&M work and  submits to the Customer, Service Manager or Customer Service Agent, as  appropriate.
  • Assists with the identification of material needs required for service delivery.

Position: PCS Systems Engineer

Description:

We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to provide support within our AN/BYG-1 Payload Control Sub-System (PCS) Integrated Product Team (IPT) at NUWCDIVNPT. This will include development and testing of unmanned vehicles, future launcher systems and weapon systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for collaboration within a team of highly experienced engineers and technicians working together to enhance a broad scope of capabilities within PCS across numerous platforms. The Systems Engineer will focus on the administrative and technical aspects of integrating new capabilities into the AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System while maintaining strict adherence to customer’s requirements, testing schedules, and integration timelines. Candidates must be self-motivated and possess a comfortable level of knowledge of systems administration, network administration, software and hardware troubleshooting, and process documentation. Candidates will occasionally be called upon to support other areas as needed as a result of their duties to include: Test and Evaluation, Cyber Accreditation, and the drafting of technical documentation and procedures. The Systems Engineer’s primary responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

  • Performing schedule and material de-confliction to facilitate PCS test events.

  • Conducting technical functional assessments of software deliveries

  • Facilitating lab-based security assessments to ensure compliance for cyber accreditation

  • Reviewing and submitting change requests for PCS requirements to reflect customer needs
