Job Details

Responsibilities:
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing the daily operations of our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed.
  2. Reviewing and approving journal entries and account reconciliations.
  3. Monitoring internal controls, identifying any potential risks or issues, and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
  4. Supervising a team of financial staff, providing guidance and support, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  5. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring they comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
  6. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to improve financial processes and systems.
  7. Participating in audits and liaising with external auditors as required.
  8. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  9. Staying abreast of industry trends and legislative changes that may impact our financial operations.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or a professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Construction industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  4. Proven experience in monitoring internal controls and managing risks.
  5. Previous experience in a supervisory role, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
  8. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  9. A solid understanding of financial regulations and standards in the Mortgage industry.
  10. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and to work effectively under pressure.

My client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This role requires a seasoned attorney capable of managing all aspects of personal injury litigation, from pre-litigation through trial. The ideal candidate will have first or second-chair trial experience, a strong background in handling complex cases, and the ability to lead legal strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct case investigations, assess liability, and develop litigation strategies
Oversee and monitor clients’ medical treatment while maintaining regular communication
Manage case files, draft demand letters, and negotiate claims and settlements
Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, witnesses, and experts
Engage in meet and confer efforts to resolve discovery disputes
Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and settlement conferences
Serve as first or second chair in trial, assisting in jury selection, direct and cross-examinations, and case presentation
Prepare for and participate in courtroom hearings, arbitrations, and trial proceedings

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the efforts of multiple client engagements with the ability to manage a budget.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As the Controller, you will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  1. Overseeing all financial operations and directing corporate financial planning and structure.
  2. Coordinating, analyzing, and reporting the financial performance to the management and board (financial performance, projections, and other special projects as required).
  3. Preparing short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you should possess:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA is highly desirable.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management roles, with a focus on grant accounting.
  3. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  4. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  5. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations, as well as experience in working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.
  6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

Job Details

As a Project Engineer your role is:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Material procurement and expediting, assistance in work planning for self-perform and work activities, oversight and mentoring of engineering staff, Project close-out: involved in coordinating of documentation - deficiencies, warranties, maintenance and final payments
  • Schedule: Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of the project schedule and costing system

Project Cost Control: Inventory control - monitoring and tracking of equipment and resources, labor productivity monitoring for self-perform work activities

  • Project Document Controls & Procedures: Coordinating and reviewing drawings, submissions, specifications, changes and document control, Change management - responsible for set-up, issuing documentation, pricing and change administration
  • Subcontract Management: Subcontract administration - defining scope of work, writing subcontracts, answering inquiries, monitoring progress, tracking and processing back charges
  • Project Administration: Preparing and tracking progress claims and estimates

Must haves Experience:
CMAR work
Wet Utilities
Project Document Controls
Wastewater experience would be a huge plus.

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management or comparable
