Boeing is seeking to hire Senior, Consultant or Lead Electronic Systems Design, Analysis, and Test Engineers for current and emerging programs across the St. Louis region, including Hazelwood, MO.

This position spans the technology development life cycle, including requirements generation, system design and implementation, integration, and test. Position Responsibilities:

  • Understand and apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts
  • Develop, document and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirements
  • Develop statement-of-work and technical performance specifications
  • Analyze, translate and implement customer requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle
  • Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
  • Resolve product integration issues and production anomalies
  • Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements and for potential application to internal business strategies
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integrity and compliance with requirements
  • Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements
  • Design hardware, software and interface specifications
  • Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • Level 4: 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.

Key job responsibilities
· Primarily work in and support multiple Data Centers by Deploying, Servicing, and Upgrading BMS and EPMS systems.
· Mentor and train Facilities team members on operation and control of the BMS and EPMS systems.

As a DevOps Engineer you will contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of a full stack containerized microservices architecture as well as technical systems administration, installation, and configuration. You will participate in fostering a DevOps culture, building strong cross functional collaboration with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams, in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

The Outside Sales Representative generates and secures new sales to increase the profitability of the company. This position maintains existing accounts while generating new business through cold calls and following leads.

What you will do

  • Promote, sell, and secure new accounts for the company.
  • Provide existing accounts with necessary products, time, and information.
  • Assist with the selection of products best suited to customer needs.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and communicate price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, and service obligations to customers/contractors.
  • Resolve customer complaints and problems.
  • Assist in the collection of accounts receivable.
  • Coordinate project schedules, contractor schedules, and material deliveries.
  • Prepare and input orders as necessary.
  • Informs company of competitive prices, products, and area-related information.
  • Maintain current knowledge of daily and monthly sales and their relationship to budget and margin goals.
  • Research and order special products as necessary.
  • Estimate materials from blueprints supplied by customer/contractor.
  • Adhere to Conflict of Interest or Non-Compete agreement if in place.
  • Comply with Company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience Qualifications

  • 3 years of sales experience in building materials or related industry required.

Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of building materials industry and products, ability to negotiate prices and contractual agreements.
  • Estimating from blueprints, ability to use calculator and computer.
  • Strategic Mindset - Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies.

The Role

Performs routine naval architecture work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of design and/or analyses of ship hull, foundation, superstructure, arrangements and hull form characteristics tasks. As directed, applies selected techniques and procedures to assignments involving ship design and ship performance analyses. Assists in the solution of difficult problems involved in areas of assignment. Uses prescribed methods to perform specific and limited portions of broader systems design, performance analyze, or hull form characteristic assignments of more experienced naval architects. The duties described herein cover major duties as required. However, this does not exclude the requirement of performing related duties under normal conditions, and other duties directed by supervision. Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, is offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus for this position to the eligible candidates.
