JOB SUMMARY
This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting the company’s products and services and for building relationships with new and existing accounts. The main focus is to help Sysco customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company. This position may require working some non-traditional hours (evening, weekends, and holidays) to successfully meet customers’ needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within assigned territory.
  • Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
  • Research customer business needs and develops a mix of products and service to meet needs.
  • Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers, based on business needs and goals.
  • Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.
  • Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, and product use.
  • Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
  • Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings, etc.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client; collect all balances due based on approved credit terms.
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department; troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process (for example, out of stock items, special order items, low inventory, etc.).
  • Participate in company functions, promotions, customer visits, and customer events.
  • Attend and participate in general sales and district meetings.
  • Engage in ongoing training sessions.
  • Assist with the training of new employees as requested.
  • Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as special-order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, processing credits, and pick-up requests, preparing sales quotes and menu suggestions, and filing reports.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of the Sysco Sales Internship .

Preferred Qualifications

Bi-Lingual

Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef Experience preferred

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Valid driver’s license with a “clean” driving record (including no multiple DUIs within the last 2 years)

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experienced Systems Engineering disciplines including Experienced and Lead Level Analysts.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Actively leads or supports hardware/software integration activities

  • Coordinate efforts between multiple engineering disciplines (e.g., software, hardware, requirements, testing, etc.)

  • Develop software load images for installation onto training devices

  • Network system integration

  • Technical troubleshooting of network systems including PCs, switches, and routers

  • Designing and troubleshooting Operating System (Windows, Redhat, Server, other) configurations

  • Operating System administration and domain integration

  • Collaborate on approaches to implement cybersecurity compliance

  • Perform issue resolution, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions for hardware and/or software

  • Define Requirements and Verification for networking infrastructure

In this role, you will perform critical work in Reliability & Maintainability and may also provide systems engineering support across areas such as affordability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, regulatory compliance, certification, product assurance, and overall system effectiveness.

Position Responsibilities

  • Analyzes customer provided requirements and develop a reliability engineering program to achieve customer reliability objectives.
  • Allocates top level reliability quantitative requirements to design teams. Performs reliability predictions to track performance.
  • Analyzes projected product utilization and calculates cumulative effect on final system reliability of individual part reliabilities.

What You Will Do

  • Based upon your Captain assignment you could be fulfilling customer orders, merchandising, processing new products, or supervising the selling floor in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Lead colleagues in the execution and completion of assigned tasks.
  • As an advocate for the customer, you will role model and provide fast feedback on how to make every customer experience outstanding.
  • Ensure high-level of customer service through problem-solving and customer-focused resolutions.
  • Enhance the in-store customer experience by promoting our Macy’s mobile app.
  • Meet with People Leaders throughout the day to plan and monitor total store activities.
  • Provide People Leaders continuous feedback that drives a positive customer experience and improves our processes.
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures, including accessing alarm system and settling the registers.
  • Lead and participate in the adherence to our best in class merchandise standards.
  • Educate colleagues on point of sale technology, radio frequency equipment, and applications to assist in selling and fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

Who You Are

  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Proficient in communicating effectively with customers and providing clear direction to colleagues
  • Self-starter in adapting quickly to changing customer expectations and needs
  • Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines
  • 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform

  • This position requires lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
    • Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 50lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
    • Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision.
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
