Job Purpose and Impact

Key Accountabilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Own the product vision and strategy for enterprise analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, KNIME) aligned to business outcomes, analytics maturity, and enterprise D&A strategy.
  • Define and maintain a multi-year product roadmap that balances innovation, scalability, governance, cost optimization, and user enablement.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for platform success, adoption, and value realization.

Product Ownership & Delivery

  • Act as Product Owner for analytics platform capabilities, including: writing and refining epics, features, and user stories while managing and prioritizing the product backlog
  • Accepting delivered functionality based on defined outcomes
  • Partner closely with platform engineering, automation, and data teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Drive clear trade-offs and prioritization decisions based on impact, risk, and enterprise value.

Governance, Standards & Enablement

  • Partner with Analytics Governance leads to embed standards, guardrails, and compliance into platform capabilities rather than relying on manual oversight.
  • Enable federated teams through certified patterns, templates, metadata, and reusable assets.
  • Ensure analytics platforms support privacy, security, regulatory, and enterprise risk requirements.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

  • Actively engage analytics communities of practice to gather feedback, surface pain points, and drive adoption.
  • Communicate roadmap, priorities, and changes clearly to a large and diverse user base.

Adoption, Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track success metrics such as adoption, usage patterns, performance, cost efficiency, and governance compliance.
  • Use platform usage insights and metadata to inform roadmap decisions and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Continuously evolve platform capabilities to support emerging needs, including GenAI-assisted analytics and new ways of working.
Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Analytics Enablement, or Platform Management.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, KNIME, or similar).

Short Description

The expected salary for this position is $95,000-$160,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets and increase market share in the region
  • Identify, develop, and qualify new sales opportunities through research, prospecting, and outbound calling
  • Meet with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate transportation solutions that will benefit their business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and serve as their main point of contact, providing them with exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

Position Summary: The Senior Estimator is responsible for, but not limited to client engagement, reviewing bid documents, detailed and comprehensive quantity take-off, securing subcontractor and vendor pricing, preparing accurate cost estimates and bid documents for new and existing heavy civil construction and underground utility projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Review bid requirements to ensure all aspects of the project are documented and accounted for.
  • Actively participating in project pre-bid meetings, site tours and bid review meetings.
  • Coordinate takeoff drawings and secure subcontractor and vendor pricing.
  • Identify, manage, and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring bids are completed accurately and timely.
  • Review drawings and highlight any areas of concern.
  • Report to the lead estimator the risks and special considerations of a project for profit evaluation.
  • Prepare or assist the lead estimator with project schedule and work plan development.
  • Review successful estimates with project developers and area managers prior to job commencement.
  • Prepare or assist project manager in project budgets.
  • Assist Project Managers with the preparation of project change estimates as required.
  • Seek cost-effective methods for inclusion in estimating projects.
  • Assist in preparation of bid package for subcontractor quotation.
  • Performs additional assignments per Director of Pre-Construction’s request.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with all necessary technological tools, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint , and Outlook with the ability to use other software as necessary.
  • Proficiency in InEight, Hard Dollar, Bid Build, HeavyBid or similar construction estimating software.
  • Prepare project drawing files and perform quantity and volume take-offs using 2D software (e.g., Bluebeam Revu) and 3D software (e.g., AGTEK, Civil CAD).
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera or similar construction scheduling software.
  • Understanding of civil engineering design and construction methods and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of mass grading and earthwork, stream restoration and rehabilitation, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility infrastructure requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to disseminate information effectively.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail, good decision-making skills, and the ability to approach and handle problems strategically.
  • Experience with job costing, scheduling and estimating contract changes.
  • Ability to breakdown construction operations into a logical sequence of activities.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3- 5 years of project engineering/estimating experience on heavy civil construction projects including excavation and underground utilities.

KTA is seeking full-time AMPP Certified Corrosion Technicians to oversee and report out on CP Program requirements in the field. Work will consist of field investigation of existing conditions, and visual inspections of CP system installations, which are divided over multiple counties in Sacramento, California.

Pay Range: $35-40/hour with per diem provided for non-local inspectors. Full comprehensive benefits package offered (health, dental vision, company-paid life and disability, paid time off, and 2 retirement plans).

The scope of work for the inspector:

  • Visual/Field Inspection - Visual inspection and documentation of corrosion levels on structural members, mechanical damages to structural components, and structure to electrolyte interface
  • Cathodic Protection System Install - Oversight and documentation of Cathodic Protection system installations, to confirm that the installations are performed in accordance with engineered drawings and contract specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent - required
  • AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector (formerly NACE 2) and/or AMPP CP1 - Cathodic Protection Tester (formerly NACE CP1) certification or higher - required
    • Candidates holding only one certification must be willing to obtain the other.
  • Entry-level to nominally two years of relevant work experience
  • Functional in the use of Cathodic protection inspection equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Close, color, distance, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus;
  • Ability to travel throughout California, and ability to work outside (including inclement weather); and
  • Climbing, bending, crawling, and working in confided spaces and on uneven terrain.
