Job Description:

Responsible for liaison duties associated with the implementation, support, and maintenance for all aspects of the clinical information system. Provide problem tracking, resolution, ongoing enhancement requests, active participation in system testing, workflow redesign, change management and continual education to facility employees and physicians. Serves as liaison between VHS departments, Information Services with primary focus on, Physicians, Physicians Office Staff, vendors and Corporate Information Services. Travel for training, meetings or other facility VHS as required.

Qualifications

Education:

Extensive working knowledge of clinical information systems (Cerner) showing progressively increasing responsibilities. Ability to work comfortable with Physicians and Midlevel providers to determined workflow needs and provide general training in clinical application and process improvement workflows. Comfortable and confident interacting with physicians and clinicians at all levels. Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Exhibits leadership attributes.

License/Certification:

Current RN license by the State of Nevada.

Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

A day in the life:

On a regular basis, you will:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data and reports

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of Lead Engineer is to lead the design and detail engineering efforts to support the construction of high speed aluminum vessels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical advice to Vigor management team as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Mentor Vigor staff engineers in carrying out their design engineering tasks.
  • Manage the project’s assigned Vigor staff engineers and engineering Subcontractors to achieve project goals.
  • Establish project engineering strategies, determine the engineering scope for internal and external resources, and then schedule and manage the accomplishment of the engineering for the project.
  • Guide the sequence of engineering and design of all mechanical systems in all company projects.
  • Reviews engineering department output for adherence to design standards.
  • Ensure project production drawings are completed and distributed to Document Control on schedule, for efficient assembly and fabrication of products.
  • Assist Chief Naval Architect in team member assignments and provide feedback on individual job performance
  • Support Project Management and Production personnel during construction phase of project.
  • Periodically view the project build progress in the shipyard to insure agreement between the plans and the construction.
  • Adhere to all Vigor safety standards.
  • Participate in annual performance evaluations.
  • Comply with all Vigor policies and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement program.
  • Support estimators during preliminary stages of project.
  • Participate in sea trials of completed vessels.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Shall have capability of leading a team of engineers (up to 10), designers and engineering subcontractors, generating and managing schedules and budgets with assistance from the Chief Naval Architect.

INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS: This position maintains a variety of professional relationships and must be able to determine the appropriate level of communication and interaction for various situations and circumstances. The ability to effectively influence decisions through respectful interactions with others both within the organization and outside of the organization is essential in this role.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Very strong computer skills and experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Ship Constructor and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred.
  • Experience must include good working knowledge of design spiral, vessel arrangements, structural, electrical, mechanical and outfit details.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts and systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) concepts and systems preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain a variety of professional relationships.

  • Fifteen (15) years of directly related, boatbuilding/shipyard, experience required - high speed aluminum vessels preferred
  • Experience and familiarity with industry regulations: ABS, USCG CFR, IACS, ABYC, IEEE, IMO/SOLAS, and military contracts is preferred.
  • Experience with prototype, one-off or custom boatbuilding.

Skyworks is seeking a talented RF Power Amplifier Design Engineer to join our team. As part of the Module Design Team, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge, state-of-the-art power amplifiers (PAs), RF switches, low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), and front-end modules for automotive and IoT applications. Our goal is to enable the industry’s transformation toward the next generation of data super highways.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design RF power amplifiers and related circuits for wireless applications using technologies such as GaAs, GaN, SOI, or SiGe.
  • Conduct lab testing and characterization of highly integrated RF System in Package solutions.
  • Take hands-on design responsibility, including overseeing detailed IC layout, lab evaluation, and back-fitting of designs.
  • Present detailed design reviews covering all aspects: IC, package, electromagnetic (EM), and thermal considerations.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels within the organization, demonstrating problem-solving skills, data analysis, and critical thinking.
  • Support all stages of product development, from concept to mass production.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent degree
  • 8 years of industry or combination with equivalent post-graduate academic experience (Master’s, or Ph.D.)
  • Strong knowledge of power amplifiers including modes of operation, matching, bias, and architecture considerations.
  • IC tape out experience in Silicon, GaAs HBT, GaN, or other relevant semiconductor technology.
  • Strong EM knowledge with including experience with passive components including couplers, baluns, and matching networks.
  • Expertise with Keysight ADS, and/or Cadence and associated simulation engines and data displays.
  • Experience with EM simulators such as Momentum, HFSS, and EMX
  • Familiarity with a modern scripting or coding language is a plus
  • Good understanding of RF systems and familiarity with wireless standards including 3GPP cellular 2/3/4/5G/6G, 802.11 WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and more
  • Experience in FEM product development and customer interaction

A day in the life:

On a regular basis, you will:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data and reports

CST technicians must have a working knowledge of all procedures, responsibilities, and billets within the CST.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a CPAC Service Technician:

  • Follow applicable safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Operate Corrosion Prevention Compound (CPC) application equipment, which includes compressors, application guns, grinders, vacuums, etc.
  • Apply CPCs on various types of military and support equipment as directed.
  • Accurately identify Marine Corps Corrosion Category Codes 1-5, the 4 stages of corrosion, and the correlation between category codes and stages of corrosion.
  • Perform equipment corrosion assessments using a paper copy of the Marine Corps CPAC Program Corrosion Assessment Checklist (CAC).
  • Perform equipment corrosion assessments using an electronic version of the CAC.
  • Perform surface preparation and touch-up procedures on military and support equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance of CPAC equipment.
  • Travel as required to perform the duties of the position.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • During short-durations, CST technicians are required to lift to 50 pounds safely.
  • During moderate-durations, CST technicians are required to mount and dismount military and support equipment of varying heights safely.
  • During long-durations, CST technicians are required to work in outdoor weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.).
  • During long-durations, CST technicians are required to wear and use company provided personal protective equipment (PPE), which includes but is not limited to: safety goggles, hand protection, and respirator equipment, etc.

Note: On a given day, CST technicians are required to wear either a dust mask or fitted respirator (depending upon the task performed) to apply Corrosion Preventive Compounds (CPCs) and/or Surface Preparation and Touch-Up Paint. The employer will ensure service technicians undergo an annual OSHA 1910.134 App A Quantitative Respirator Fit Test.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, and/or a vocational degree.
  • At least two years of related experience (military or commercial) is preferred.
  • Prior military experience is a preferred but not required
  • Within 60-days of hire, CST technicians are required to successfully complete CPAC certification. CST technicians must complete the Defense Acquisition University, Continuous Learning Module; Corrosion Prevention and Control Overview (CLM 038). Completion of this online course is required within one year of employment and before recertification.

Job Description:

  • The Corrosion Technician support maintenance and planning for the overhaul and repair of equipment and systems associated with U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers (CVN) and U.S. Navy Surface Ships.
  • Work will be performed on board US Naval vessels located in San Diego, CA.
  • The salary for this position is $85-$105K
  • The support will include providing aircraft carriers and the surface fleet a team of experts in Navy systems/equipment maintenance, for both preventive and equipment maintenance training.
  • The Corrosion Technician will “Find, Fix, and Train” Ship’s Force equipment operators and maintenance technicians, with the goal of enabling sailors to maintain and repair equipment during their operational deployments.
  • The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing technical guidance for successfully conducting maintenance, including logistical support, in the following areas on aircraft carriers and surface ships: Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E), aviation equipment and systems, Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C4I) combat support systems and equipment.

Required Skills and Experience:

a. Ten (10) years experience in the inspection, maintenance and repair of tanks and voids, ventilation Plenums, trunks and bilges in accordance with NAVSEA Corrosion Control
Assessment and Maintenance Manual (CCAMM), current revision (T-9630-AB-MMD-010/All USN Hulls).
b. Completion of Navy Basic Paint Inspector (NBPI) Coating Inspection Course or National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) Level 1 Basic Course.
c. Knowledge of state-of-the-art coating systems established by NAVSEA 05M1 for critically coated surfaces, and the use of the CCIMS database and documentation of the
coating inspections.
d. Three (3) years tank or corrosion inspection experience, in accordance with the Corrosion Control and Assessment Manual (CCAMM). Quantified specialized skills such as
trade qualifications, manufacturer certifications of training for Coating systems and corrosion prevention may be substituted for up to two (2) years of technician experience for
each major qualification or specialized trade skill.
