Description

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer / Data Science Librarian to manage and optimize databases supporting GEOINT product dissemination and to process expurgation requests for distributing discrete geospatial product packages to internal and foreign partners. This role is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and ensuring the accuracy of spatial content databases—including country and state boundary generation—using NGA tools, ESRI ArcGIS, and related technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in coding/script development, database management, geospatial components, and software engineering to ensure seamless data integrity, automation, and efficient dissemination.

This position requires a highly collaborative professional capable of working across multiple offices, maintaining and enhancing ingest and validation scripts, and supporting end‑to‑end software operations related to GEOINT product dissemination. Primary Responsibilities:

Database Management & Spatial Content Generation

  • Manage and maintain databases supporting GEOINT product dissemination, including spatial content and country/state boundary generation.
  • Develop, optimize, and enhance data ingest and validation scripts, stored procedures, and code to ensure accuracy and efficient processing.
  • Integrate and optimize geospatial components such as Oracle Spatial, ArcSDE, and SDO_Geometry to improve data integrity and visualization.
  • Utilize Unix/Linux commands and file systems; write shell scripts, cron jobs, and manage file/folder permissions.

Software Engineering & Automation

  • Maintain and enhance Perl scripts, Java and Python code packages, and database constructs to improve automation and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and database issues related to content dissemination, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
  • Render maps in ESRI ArcGIS using data queries and apply layers within the mapping environment.

Collaboration & Cross‑Domain Support

  • Work across multiple offices and security domains (NIPRnet/Xenon, SIPRnet, JWICS) to ensure secure and seamless data integration.
  • Engage with stakeholders, product owners, and data users to optimize data structuring, usability, and distribution.
  • Support end‑to‑end operations for software and database systems related to GEOINT product dissemination.

YOUR ROLE

As a Finance team member, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial strength and flexibility that enables us to be there when our policyholders need us – now and in the future. The tax department of Genworth is looking for a Tax Manager to join our growing team. You will support our insurance businesses and assist with the preparation and review of the federal, state, and investments compliance for those legal entities. You will also assist with tax accounting for quarterly and annual reporting requirements. You will work with a cross-functional team of tax professionals, as well as business partners, to ensure the highest level of quality in our tax compliance and reporting processes. We are committed to building the tax technical, analytical, critical thinking, communication and leadership skills of our professionals and have a robust training program to support individual development.  We believe in developing the members of our team by providing a broad range of responsibilities and experiences over the course of their career.  The department is organized around teams focused on our primary businesses and core processes.  Our team members can expect to rotate between our teams to broaden their experience.

What you will be doing

  • Manage tax provision, compliance, and reporting for investment assets, including federal, state, and international tax filings.
  • Partner with internal teams including investment front office, middle office, back office, legal, and accounting.

  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual GAAP and STAT tax provisions for life insurance companies.

What you bring

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and ASC 740

You will collaborate internally to help define a standard driven solution, and implement embedded firmware, to manage performance of the CPU subsystem. You will also be responsible for helping characterize and tune this solution for all Qualcomm SoCs utilizing Qualcomm custom CPUs.

In CPU Power Management FW developer role, with focus on CPU performance management, you will be working closely both with the hardware power management and firmware development teams. What you will do

Under general direction, HVAC Controls Lead Systems Specialist acts as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete projects with assigned customers in a safe and cost effective manner. Performs or delegates tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects including: hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning and project closeout.

Primary Function

As the Corporate HR Manager, you will provides multi-site human resources leadership to corporate functional groups and the international business unit in order to drive the Company’s Growth and Performance of our People initiative.  This role will manage a small team and will also be a matrix manager to the international HR team.  The successful incumbent will manage and administer a wide variety of HR programs including compensation and benefits administration, succession planning, recruitment, training, organization development, and employee relations programs.  This role reports to the Director of HR and Total Rewards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide HR leadership to corporate function groups including legal, HR, finance, and engineering
  • Manage, coach, and mentor a small team of HR professionals to drive performance and engagement.
  • Partner with functional leaders to understand organizational needs and implement effective HR solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR shared services to execute programs in compensation, recruitment, training, performance management, succession planning, and employee development.
  • Execute the organization’s Growth and Performance of our People strategy and ensure that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains employees
  • Evaluate the organization’s future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs
  • Act as the Company’s HR immigration leader and work with internal and external counsel on all cases
  • Provide HR oversight for international operations in India and Europe, ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, employment laws, and company values across all locations.
  • Participate in company-wide HR initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field

  • Minimum of 5-7 years related work experience

  • 2-3 Years of Supervisory/Leadership experience

  • At least 2 years providing HR leadership to corporate/functional teams

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Good organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to keep the integrity of confidential information

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Basic analytical and mathematical skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Knowledge and experience with HRIS systems preferred
