Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a Physical/Dimensional technician in the calibration of Test and Measurement Equipment. This is role for a key individual who will work full time at a Keysight calibration site located in Richardson, TX.

Specific duties include:

  • Perform work related to the calibration of test, measurement and diagnostic equipment.
  • A background in physical/dimensional, thermal and electronic calibration.
  • Able to utilize written and automated calibration procedures.
  • Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between process, hardware & system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required.
  • Accurately enters data into Calibration management software and datasheets.
  • Adheres to company and quality policies and procedures.

Qualifications

1+ years of relevant experience, with typically 4+ years practical experience. A relevant degree or certificate is desired but not required.

Position requires:

  • 1+ years directly related experience as Field Service Engineer or Calibration Engineer/Technician
  • Skills in the calibration all types of Keysight and Multivendor Test Equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to utilize Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel).

The Human Health and Performance Contract supporting NASA at the Johnson Space Center is seeking an experienced Engineer to lead fire safety integration for the Lunar Landing System in Houston, Texas.

What You’ll Do

You will play a significant role to help Human Landing Systems (HLS) ensure a robust fire safety approach for the use of its flight hardware in an elevated oxygen environment.  You will act as the primary integration leader between the HLS Program and HLS Crew Compartment Office, test project management/test execution, and commercial providers. In this integration role, you will perform integration and provide integration leadership for fire safety testing, serve as an interface to commercial providers, collaborate with multiple discipline leads and management, and lead resolution of significant technical issues that require integration across multiple disciplines and organizations.  You will apply extensive experience in engineering integration, testing, fire safety, communication, and leadership to help HLS chart a successful path forward to its certification milestones.

What you Bring

You bring extensive engineering leadership experience across multiple disciplines and experience in fire and material combustion test planning and integration.  You use your integration experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, negotiate within HLS and its commercial providers, integrate with other Programs to support integrated projects, and perform cross-program integration to help HLS Program ensure success of its fire safety efforts. These HLS efforts include material selection/control, preventing faults that lead to fires, and fire detection and mitigation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide integration leadership of, and high level planning for, large-scale fire testing.
  • Serve as the primary HLS interface on fire safety matters with the fire testing project manager and project engineers and also as interface to commercial providers regarding test planning.
  • Collaborate closely with HLS Chief Engineer in order to provide influence/directional guidance to fire test planning and execution for both internal NASA tests and commercial partner tests.
  • Collaborate with fire, materials and other expert discipline leads, program offices, and cross-program stakeholders on engineering and operations aspects of operating in a high oxygen environment.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with enthusiasm for diving deep into technical fire safety issues and driving effective solutions.
  • Lead resolution of significant technical issues and risks requiring integration across multiple technical disciplines and organizations.
  • Coordinate with NASA fire safety subject-matter experts and align Moon-to-Mars efforts to enable safe missions in elevated oxygen environments.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to program management on balancing fire safety approaches throughout the program lifecycle.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant technical degree
  • Minimum 15 years experience in engineering and integration roles
  • Minimum 5 years experience with test planning, integration and execution
  • Project engineering and/or System Engineering/Integration experience
  • Experience in selection and control of materials, implementation of safety controls, and fire detection/risk mitigation for space vehicle oxygen environment
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering integration leadership
  • Demonstrated experience showing self-motivation and proactivity in communicating and integrating with others without a lot of hands-on direction
  • Demonstrated experience working within a team environment, where the team is distributed across multiple NASA centers
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying integration concerns and gaps in information and communicating concerns to leadership in a diplomatic manner
  • Demonstrated experience performing cross-program integration with multiple people for various purposes in parallel

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

The General Service Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.

  • Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building

About the Role:

Cognizant is seeking a Kinaxis RapidResponse / Maestro Lead to drive and support Kinaxis implementations for global clients. This is a client-facing leadership role focused on ensuring platform stability, resolving complex issues, and advancing innovation across Kinaxis-supported supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the solution design authority for Kinaxis RapidResponse and Maestro implementations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

Qualifications – Required

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse / Maestro.
  • Strong expertise in supply chain planning processes, including Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP, and Control Tower.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing end-to-end project delivery.
  • Demonstrated success in solution architecture, design, and delivery of Kinaxis solutions within large-scale, global programs.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, system configuration, and integrations within Kinaxis.
  • Experience integrating Kinaxis with ERP systems and other enterprise platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

As a Maritime Surveillance Systems Engineer/Analyst, you will…

  • Work with system developers and analysis team members to conduct lab-based and at-sea assessment of functional and operational Maritime Surveillance Systems CLFA, LFA and prototype Deployable Active Systems capabilities.
  • Ensure test scope, analysis methodology, appropriate measures of performance and data required to execute analysis are comprehensive.
  • Apply surveillance domain experience to develop new system display concepts, capabilities, and functions to improve system performance.
  • Research, investigate, and experiment with next-generation technologies and look for creative applications in unconventional ways.
  • Apply systems engineering expertise in support of future MSS LFA, CLFA and prototype Deployable Active Systems requirements and capability development to inform impending development direction.
  • Coordinate with analysts to contribute to evaluation of fielded MSS LFA, CLFA and prototype Deployable Active Systems.
  • Liaise between JHU/APL, acquisition sponsors (PMS 485), and fleet operational commands to inform future development decision-making and optimize operational utility and MSS LFA, CLFA and prototype Deployable Active Systems employment.

  • Have earned a US Navy designator, billet classification, or enlisted classification code related to surveillance systems and/or active sonar.
  • Have 10+ years of relevant experience with acoustic surveillance systems operations, training, and testing.
  • Have experience with US Navy developmental and operational test and evaluation.
  • Are passionate about applying operational experience and analytical skills in an innovative environment.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, are skilled at developing relationships across organizational teams and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
