The Opportunity

This position is a remote opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. As a Senior Regional Account Manager, responsibilities entail securing access for the entire line of ADC Products to the regional accounts within the territory. This includes developing relationships and mutual strategies within the defined regional accounts to open or improve access for ADC products. The channel includes any of the following customer types:  Health Plans, Managed Care Organizations, Employer Groups, managed Medicaid, FFS Medicaid and Medicare plans within the market access channel. This is a remote Field based opportunity.

Required:

The Team

Primary Objective:

Follows all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001. Additional Duties:

  • Responsible for performing routine electrical, mechanical and environmental tests and calibrations on less complex PCB products.
  • Responsible for understanding and using proper ESD procedures as outlined in the ESD manual.
  • Performs all necessary tests efficiently and accurately by following established written procedures; follows steps on the product job router, writes legibly, signs and dates traveler when steps are completed.
  • Responsible for making sure that all products meet established test and/or calibration specifications and for notifying Leadership when they do not.
  • Ensures that test equipment calibration stickers are not expired before using and notifies Leadership if expired or close to expiration; communicates with Leadership concerning any problems with product testing equipment.
  • Follows safety rules and keeps area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Performs other related duties as directed to ensure efficient operation of department and PCB

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience: Knowledge in pre-calibration testing such as transverse, time constant, observes all safety precautions per department guidelines when operating test equipment, especially when handling liquid nitrogen, operating testing ovens and when performing ballistics tests.
  • Basic computer skills required in operating calibration software

Are you a Navy veteran with submarine work control experience? Join the HII Mission Technologies team in Newport News, VA! We are seeking motivated candidates to support Virginia-class submarine construction on-site at Newport News Shipbuilding. Bring your expertise back to the fleet and help us build the next generation of undersea superiority.

What You Will Do

  • Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
  • Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
  • Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
  • Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data.
  • Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.
  • May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

What You Must Have

  • AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience, or HS + 5 years related (DoD/USN) experience.
  • Prior U.S. Navy Submarine service is required.
  • Candidate must have experience with Tagouts using ESOMS/ETAG.
  • Candidate must have an active SECRET Security Clearance.

Bonus Points For Having!

  • Prior experience with the work permit application and approval process.
  • Prior Experience with Work Authorization Forms.
  • Proven track record supporting shipboard maintenance and modernization during scheduled availabilities.

Physical Requirements

Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the job. A waterfront office work environment is normally encountered.
