Position Overview

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Technical Support Specialist - Technical Lead (Tech Lead). The Technical Lead works onsite Navy Warfare Development Center, Norfolk Naval Station supporting Maritime Operation Center - Exercise Support Team (MOC-EST) and Naval Surface Warfare Center- Corona (NSWC-Corona) in providing Navy LVC training throughout all assigned Areas of Responsibility (AORs). The person assists with the planning, design, and execution of Operational-level Fleet Synthetic Training (FST-O) events for Fleet and task force staffs, to include assigned reserve personnel. The position also supports on-site and distributed training events at other Norfolk VA sites, as directed. The Specialist position requires interaction with Military, Government and Contractor Leadership. Communication skills are required. The position requires flexibility to work non-standard work hours and work weeks of more than 40 hours to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements.

Leidos has an exciting opening for you, as our next TS/SCI cleared Systems Engineer, to play a critical role with design, engineering, development and deployment of software supporting the DIA-NMEC (National Media Exploitation Center) DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP). Under this 10-year contract containing multiple Task Orders, we support the DOMEX Data Discovery Platform (D3P) Modernization program as well as DIA-OSIC’s mission to centralize and standardize Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED) of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) across the DoD and IC enterprise. This position provides an opportunity to have impact as part of a mission focused, solutions oriented, and adaptive team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional development. The selected individual will work closely with the Lead Systems Engineer, Release Train Engineer, and government leads to decompose high priority requirements from the product roadmap into valuable delivered solutions, executing on requirements analysis, design, system integration, and system testing.
As a Systems Engineer you will lead an application team responsible for maintaining the continuous flow of new software enhancements and deployments, while you manage risks, escalate impediments, and help to drive continuous process improvement. Role Description: The Network Operations Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining both cloud and on-premises networking environments. This role includes overseeing virtual private networks (VPNs), cloud-based networks and virtual network appliances, and on-premises networks and its hardware. The NetOps Admin will ensure the performance, availability, and security of the CSSP network infrastructure and the connections to our subscribers. The role requires applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of systems investments. Manage and monitor cloud networking solutions, such as AWS and Azure. Configure and sustain on-premises networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Set up, oversee, and maintain virtual private networks (VPNs) for secure remote access. Ensure network performance is high and optimal. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly. Implement and oversee network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and network access controls. Regularly tune network performance, plan capacity, and assess scalability. Execute network hardware and software upgrades and patches as necessary. Keep network documentation up to date, including diagrams, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures. Work with other IT teams to integrate and enhance network resources for various applications and services. Oversee network-related projects, from planning to implementation and documentation. Keep abreast of the latest network technologies, trends, and best practices. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or possess equivalent work experience. This position requires a US Citizen. Position may require up to 25% travel as needed OCONUS travel may be required Experience: Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering. Conduct research into network issues and vendor products as needed. Prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment Be available for on-call after-hours rotational support as necessary.
