Job Responsibilities
In this role you will:

• Automate cloud native technologies, deploy applications, and provision critical infrastructure
• Work with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology
• Work within the OpenStack cloud ecosystem to configure and deploy optimized infrastructure
• Ensure monitoring and health of the resources deployed via Nagios or other enterprise management solutions

Job Details

You’ll be part of a customer-facing managed services team supporting cloud-native data platforms at scale. This role is heavily focused on platform operations, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, DBA-style optimization, and incident-to-improvement cycles, rather than pure software engineering.

What You’ll Do

Platform Operations & Optimization:

• Maintain, monitor, and enhance customer data platforms across cloud environments.

Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. Leidos is seeking a DevSecOps engineer across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.

Location:

This position will be hybrid remote. Candidates will be required to work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will be located near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) or work in Huntsville, AL.

Primary Responsibilities Could Include:

This individual will be responsible for developing in a scalable cloud-native solutions, and ensuring best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security. This is a hands-on technical role that requires rolling up your sleeves to architect, code, debug, and mentor.

• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for secure, automated software delivery.

• Assist with the implementation of DevSecOps pipelines across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Deploy, configure, and support applications in cloud environments.

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the deployment, operation, and security of our healthcare software platforms including our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and our end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and billing platform. In this role, you will be the primary owner of how our applications are built, shipped, run, monitored, and secured in production. This is the first dedicated DevOps role at our company, and it is being created to formalize and grow this function as we scale. You will own the full scope of our application infrastructure on a day-to-day basis, with our Lead Software Developers serving as backup support for production emergencies and after-hours coverage.
