Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Vehicle Management System (VMS) Requirements Engineer to join the VMS Requirements team located in Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop software requirements and design for a Vehicle Management System (VMS)
• Apply model-based system engineering techniques to design and verify system requirements
• Interpret requirements to formulate and test mathematical models
• Work with subject matter experts, design solutions for a variety of capabilities such as airplane subsystems (i.e. actuation), signal processing, redundancy management, system monitoring, and controls
• Coordinate and integrate requirements across engineering disciplines
• Verify and validate software against designed requirements in virtual and hardware test environments

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Job Description:

• Architect, build, and integrate CANES hardware stacks (server/blade/storage, GPON OLT/ONT, routing/switching, KVMs/PDUs, fiber/copper plants) across ashore, afloat, subsurface, airborne, and mobile environments.
• Lead site surveys and produce Installation Design Packages (IDPs): rack elevations, power/HVAC calculations, block diagrams, cable running sheets, BOMs, and final as-builts; prepare FRCB, BESEP, and SHIPALT submittals.
• Execute installations and System Operational Verification Tests (SOVTs); coordinate cutovers to minimize operational impact; document test results and corrective actions.
• Perform Tier III troubleshooting on optical/electrical transport (DWDM/SONET/TDM/TDMoIP), GPON, and platform LANs; isolate card/port faults; drive root-cause and repair actions.
• Provision and sustain Type-1 encryption hardware (e.g., TACLANE, KIV-7M) in coordination with Communications Security Material System (CMS) and program cyber stakeholders.
• Ensure environmental and electromagnetic compliance (MIL-STD-810, MIL-S-901D, MIL-STD-461); support TEMPEST coordination and lab/field test readiness.
• Maintain lab configurations within NIWC Pacific facilities; support Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) and readiness events (TRRs).
• Collaborate with PMW-160, NIWC engineers, shipyards, and platform IPTs; align hardware baselines with CMPro/CCB processes and program schedules.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):

• Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance.

• 2+ years in hardware/system integration for enterprise or tactical networks, including rack-level integration and shipboard or DoW fielding.
• 2+ years with Navy C4I or CANES-like programs (compute/storage, routing/switching, fiber/copper cabling, GPON).

Launch your engineering career on the Navy’s front lines as an Engineer Associate with GDIT.

You’ll support Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific Codes 55131/55132/55133) delivering Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) and related tactical network capabilities across ashore, afloat, subsurface, airborne, mobile, and joint environments. • Ensure the engineering procedures and policies are periodically reviewed, modified and implemented.

Qualifications

Education & Credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering or a related field; 10+ years in an engineering related field may be substituted in lieu of the educational requirements.

• USCG License and/or Maritime Academy graduate preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marine Engineering, sailing onboard a vessel.

• Valid driver’s license, passport, and TWIC card.

Experience:

Candidates need to meet at least 1 of the following qualifications:

Technical Skills:

BAE Systems is seeking a full-time on-site Network Engineer to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system at Washington Navy Yard. This role requires an experienced IT professional with a strong foundation in diverse technologies, who is able to communicate effectively with stakeholders of all levels.

This position will work on a Team that maintains the stability, availability and security of the Navy’s SSP networks.

In this role you will:

• Work with a dedicated team that manages the customer’s classified network, provides network engineering support services, VOIP and VTC support services, and support for remote sites across a classified WAN.
• Install and maintain the network equipment (routers, switches, etc.) along with implementing and maintaining network security policies.
• Perform hands on technical work configuring and deploying networking equipment in accordance with DoW security requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network infrastructure issues
• Create technical documentation to include technical instructions and technical designs

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Working full-time on-site at the Washington Navy Yard
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related degree and six years position related experience; OR ten years position related work experience.
• An active Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance; ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
• An IAT II certification as specified in the DoD 8570
  • Or, have a SECNAV 5239 qualifying degree AND meet the requirements for an IAT II as specified in the DoD 8570 within 6 months of start date
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), badge access to the customer’s facility, and a SSP network account in good standing
• Comprehensive knowledge of CISCO Technologies along with CLI, CISCO IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR
• Experience with Cisco Routing protocols BGP and static routing
• Understanding of IT Infrastructure, network administration, classified LAN management, and wide area networks
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications (Cisco Unity, Cisco call manager, and Cisco VoIP)
• Experience with Cisco ISE and 802.1x deployment on end point devices
• Experience configuring firewalls, routers, switches, and VOIP phones
• Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Ability to interact with and effectively present information to peers, management and customers.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners and government officials

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762

The Position:

The Calibration Technician will provide calibration services for a variety of test and measurement equipment. The Calibration Technician will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves, should be a self-starter and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must.

This role will be based out of our Greer, SC location.

Responsibilities

• Calibration of electronic, mechanical, dimensional and/or physical measuring and test equipment such as:
  • AC/DC Low Voltage (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, voltage calibrators etc.)
  • Scales/balances, force gauges, micrometers, torque wrenches
  • RF Frequency measuring and Generating Devices (spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, FR counters)
  • Temperature & Humidity devices (thermometers, pressure gauges, other gauges, data loggers, hygrometer, environmental chambers, ovens)
  • High Voltage Generating and Measuring equipment (Hipot tester, Meggers, Insulation testers)

Qualifications

Requirements

• 3 - 5+ years of electronic or mechanical calibration experience or relevant experience with a high school diploma (or equivalent) and/or a combination of experience and education
• Previous experience in electronic, mechanical and/or physical equipment calibration, either in a Calibration lab or in house
• Commercial or Military experience acceptable
• Position will require daily travel - most travel would be within a 6-hour range of Greenville, SC; average 10 overnights per month
