The Opportunity

Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of Structural Heart disease.  We aim to lead the markets we serve by requiring the solutions we offer customers provide an improved benefit/risk profile as compared to existing standards of care; a performance threshold that by definition, guides and ensures the productive output of our engineering, business development, and clinical research efforts result in outcomes that advance the standard of care.

The Territory Manager, Structural Interventions is a field-based position, responsible for ensuring that the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives. The Territory Manager will work with their Regional Director to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential and to establish and achieve annual sales objectives in assigned territory. They will coordinate activities with clinical consultants and negotiate contracts with external customers. This role keeps the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity.

This particular role is focused on Abbott’s Amplatzer Congenital offering which encompasses atrial septal defects (ASD), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) and ventricular septal defects (VSD), and patent foramen ovale (PFO).

What You’ll Work On

  • Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by company on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g., product, competition and pricing needs) of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company’s products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Develops action plans (i.e., weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports identifying the needs of particular accounts and discussing issues with regional manager to help the organization achieve its sales goals.
  • Identifies key accounts, health care professionals, and business issues that have greatest effect on use of company products by meeting with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals and constraints related to patient care.
  • Observes actual procedures in the labs and operating rooms of hospital accounts to gain insight into the characteristics and specific needs of each physician and each member of the lab staff.
  • Establishes pricing packages by working with relevant Abbott Vascular personnel to establish price points that address specific customer’s needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies.
  • Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g. through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospital and to identify key purchasing decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.
  • Strengthens customer relationships by performing sales support activities (e.g. internal and external customer training, VIP trips, orientations, launches, and updates).
  • Builds networks of contacts on behalf of company to stimulate interest in company’s products by attending and participating in trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
  • Educates external customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to secure purchasing commitments.
  • Maintains clinical and technical expertise by attending company product training sessions.
  • Assesses trends in managed care, competitors’ strategies, and new product development by monitoring internal (e.g. sales growth, product mix, and pricing trends) and external indicators (e.g. competitors’ activities, technologies, websites, journals, and newsletters).
  • Prepares and submits reports to sales management by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 5+ years’ of which include Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific sales experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

Job Summary

Under general direction, this position is responsible for researching, documenting and developing detailed operator, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures, checklists, technical specifications, alert bulletins, training materials and other procedures and reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collects and accumulates appropriate technical information through researching and analyzing technical data and publications, engineering drawings, test procedures, design specifications/documentation, software description documents, engineering documents and by interviewing technical experts.
  • Ensures documents are developed in accordance with the requested specifications and contractual requirements, including development of any necessary illustrations, photographs, or other graphic representations.
  • Ensures final materials clearly and effectively communicate the technical information and data.
  • Ensures accuracy of documents. Corrects technical and editorial errors and may participate in rewrites as necessary.
  • Coordinates technical reviews and approval signatures, which may include appropriate security classification prior to document distribution.
  • Participates in developing and recommending new and/or modifications to documentation/communication policies and procedures.
  • Presents document(s) to program management staff, makes related presentations, and assists in the document security classification process.
  • Plans, coordinates and leads efforts of small-medium sized teams to complete projects.
  • May represent the organization as a primary contact on contracts and projects.
  • May provide direction and training to less experienced staff.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating practices and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Typically requires education or formal training equivalent to the completion of an associate’s degree in a related discipline and six or more years progressive experience in a technical field. May substitute equivalent professional experience in lieu of education/training.
  • Must demonstrate a comprehensive technical understanding of military or commercial systems, and technical writing/editing principles, theories, standards and concepts.
  • Must have strong working knowledge of the development of technical manuals and documentation and strong working knowledge of computer-based tools in the production of technical documentation.
  • Must possess:

Description

NDT Inspector. Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness by performing the following duties:

What you will be responsible for:

  • Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR ISO 9000 Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual.
  • Record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer and company policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Director of Quality Control in reviewing and updating departmental standards.
  • Conduct NDT for the acceptance of parts and document the results if a demonstration of proficiency in this ability was included in the practical examination.
  • Interface with suppliers/product line in disposition rejects.
  • Perform NDT inspections in compliance with customer work instructions, and AAR procedures and policies.
  • Record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of Aircraft and Components.
  • Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT method(s) as used by the employer.
  • Shall be capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.
  • Selecting the method and technique for a specific inspection.
  • Preparing and verifying the adequacy of procedures and work instructions.
  • Approve NDT procedures and work instructions for technical adequacy.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Have a general knowledge of other NDT methods, product manufacturing, and inspection technologies used by the employer
  • When specified in written practice, have a basic knowledge of aircraft maintenance.
  • Be capable of providing or directing training, examination, and certification of personnel.
  • When specified in the written practice, be capable of auditing outside agencies to ensure the requirements of the written practice are met.
  • Level II certification for one or more applicable NDT disciplines.
  • Ability to correctly use one or more types of applicable NDT equipment.
  • 3-4 years’ experience in aircraft NDT.
  • Familiar with aircraft manufacturers technical documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret Ads, S/Bs, SRMs, industry NDT specifications and other work instructions.
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements of FAR 145 repair station.
  • FAA A&P License required.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend standard English.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $27.15 to $33.68 hourly. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
