Job Details

This position supports enterprise-level financial planning and analysis activities, partnering with leadership to drive informed decision-making and improve overall financial performance. Required Background & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Business Partnering:
Collaborate across business functions to evaluate financial implications of operational and strategic initiatives
Provide insight-driven analysis and financial models to support leadership decision-making

Planning, Forecasting & Performance Tracking:
Monitor financial results relative to budgets, forecasts, and prior-period performance
Assess business drivers and market conditions to develop forward-looking projections
Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial updates to support tactical and strategic discussions

Management Reporting:
Contribute to the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages
Assist in developing materials used for executive and leadership presentations

Analytics & Performance Insights:
Apply business knowledge, trends, and key performance indicators to enhance analytical frameworks and reporting tools
Identify opportunities to improve visibility into performance and support continuous improvement initiatives

Scenario & Financial Modeling:

Document modeling assumptions, processes, and maintenance procedures

Cross-Functional FP&A Exposure:

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in JIB accounting, preferably in the energy industry.
  3. Proficiency in Ogsys software is a must.
  4. Demonstrated experience in upstream processes.
  5. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  6. Exceptional analytical skills and experience creating detailed reports and presentations.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  8. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage a team.
  9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Position Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive Junior Systems/Software Integration Engineer to assist with the deployment, configuration, and validation of complex software solutions across multiple computing environments. This early-career role combines elements of software integration, system testing, and DevOps support within an Agile framework.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform software integration and validation tasks in alignment with established DevOps processes
  • Verify functional updates, apply patches, and conduct regression testing to confirm system stability across varied hardware and operating systems
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues related to networking, virtualization, or software compatibility
  • Capture test results and prepare supporting documentation consistent with Agile and DevOps reporting standards
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives within a collaborative Agile team

MUST HAVES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 1 year experience working professionally in a DevOps enviornment
  • Linux experience (RHEL)
  • Experience/knowledge with setting up or managing Virtual Machines (this would not be a complete dealbreaker if candidate has experience in the majority of the rest)
  • Python and/or Bash scripting skils
  • Approximately 1-5 years of relevant technical experience (including internships or co-ops)
  • Active Secret clearance with the U.S. Department of Defense at time of hire (Must be active, or have been active within 2 years so that it can be activated without a new investigation)

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Virtualization platforms such as oVirt, RHV, VMware vSphere/ESXI, or similar
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Containerization tools such as Docker or Podman or similar
  • Version control and issue tracking tools such as Jira and Bitbucket
  • Networking fundamentals including basic switch setup and configuration
  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate exchange, DoD cybersecurity standards, RMF, etc
  • Vulnerability assessment or compliance scanning tools (e.g., ACAS or equivalent)
  • Experience integrating and testing software within mixed hardware/software environments
  • Exposure to continuous integration and automated testing frameworks
