Leidos is seeking a Sr Transport Network Specialist to support related efforts for SMIT, the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT), Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, the Leidos team will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network. The successful candidate will support network engineering for voice, video, and data communications (such as BAN/LAN/WLAN/WAN, cross domain solutions, communications security, and piers connectivity) in the NMCI network.

Leidos is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (C#) to work for the Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) business unit in Vista, CA. The SES business unit at Leidos designs and manufactures highly complex security equipment for use at border crossings, airports, seaports, and other transportation mechanisms. Our products include radiation detectors and spectrometers, X-ray and gamma ray scanners for cars, trucks and trains, and CT explosives detection equipment for airline passenger baggage. About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Account Management to lead, scale, and actively participate in our customer renewal and expansion motion. This role is ideal for a commercially strong leader who enjoys owning key customer relationships personally while building and developing a high-performing Account Management team.
You will be accountable for net revenue retention, renewal execution, and expansion growth across a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market customers. As both a leader and individual contributor, you will personally manage strategic and complex accounts while coaching Account Managers on best practices for renewals, expansions, and partner-led deal execution.
This role is highly cross-functional and will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Finance, Legal, and our reseller/channel partners.

Account Management Leadership & Team Development
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Account Management team responsible for subscription renewals and expansion revenue.

• Establish and refine scalable processes for renewal forecasting, expansion pipeline management, and deal execution.

Customer & Channel Engagement
• Serve as an executive-level commercial contact for key customers, building long-term trusted relationships.
• Collaborate closely with reseller and channel partners to coordinate renewals, pricing strategy, and expansion motions.
• Navigate complex procurement processes and multi-stakeholder buying committees.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience across direct and partner-led engagements.
Cross-Functional & Strategic Collaboration

Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Revenue, or Sales, preferably in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring Account Managers, ideally in a high-growth environment.
• Proven success owning renewals and expansion within complex enterprise and mid-market accounts.
• Experience working with channel or reseller partners in a subscription-based business model.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting, pricing, and contract negotiation.

How you will do it
This skilled position involves troubling shooting and repairing installed systems. Including panel repair/reprogram, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles and system testing.
Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
Candidate must possess excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills.
Position involves the programming of fire alarm, security, and access control system panels.
Experience CCTV and IT and IP networks a plus.
Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
CCNA, A+ and Network+ certifications a plus.
Occasional On-call and after-hours work required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
Retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.

Experience with access control, security intrusion, sound, and communications systems.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $18.36 - $25.28 per hour (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
