About the RoleThe Accountant at Hadrian is a key contributor to building a strong, scalable financial foundation within a high-growth manufacturing environment. This role owns defined areas of the balance sheet and income statement, drives accurate and timely month-end close, and partners cross-functionally to support reporting to leadership, investors, and auditors. Success in this role requires strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in ASC 606, internally developed software, and manufacturing cost accounting along with a high level of detail orientation and intellectual curiosity. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-scaling environment, takes ownership of their work, and is motivated to understand the "why" behind financial outcomes while improving processes along the way. In this role you will: Own explicit areas of the Company's financials while having a wide exposure to all of the items on the Company's balance sheet and income statement Assist in ensuring a timely and accurate month end closing calendar. Owning a variety of reconciliations and processes Work with Senior Managers on Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly reporting requirements to executive management, investors, and auditors Design, document, present, and implement accounting policies. Own the changes and the outcomes of your work Work closely with supply chain, operations, and software development teams to unlock operational efficiencies and new ways of understanding the Company's operations Involvement in ad-hoc technical accounting implementations, projects, and requests that have high visibility Aid as needed with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other operational accounting issues as they arise What We're Looking For: Strong understanding of core accounting concepts as pertains to manufacturing companies Subject matter expert in ASC 606 Penned and defended multiple technical accounting memos from Internally Developed Software to Liability vs Equity accounting Understanding of activity based costing and the different levers that affect product cost Detail oriented and a persistence for uncovering the why to accounting and financial questions Ability to learn different aspects of a scaling operations Public Accounting experience (Hadrian is open to hiring directly out of Public Accounting).
