Job Description:

The Specialist, Systems Engineer is an intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area. Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area. Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. Identifies and addresses changes within own job area. Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results. Work consists of making basic adjustments to systems and processes to solve problems. Identifies, defines, and addresses general problems that are typically within the immediate job area. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis.

This role involves sustainment engineering support for the Trident II (D5) Strategic Weapon System. Responsibilities include fleet installation support, reviewing and responding to failure reports, and providing engineering test support. Candidates with prior Navy experience, especially those who were missile technicians, navigation electronics technicians, or submarine officers with SSBN and shipyard experience are highly desirable; such candidates will significantly benefit the company through their understanding of Navy terminology and the specific support requirements of submarine operations in a demanding shipyard environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Support digital engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Conducting trade studies
  • Generation of requirements specifications
  • Generation of functional block diagrams, use-case diagrams, etc.
  • Integration and test planning, including generation of plans and procedures.
  • Interfacing with the other engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical, project, etc.) to ensure proper coordination of the systems aspects of the project.
  • Generate and/or update drawings, parts lists, Engineering Orders, wiring lists, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Generation of Engineering Change Orders
  • Creation and presentation of design review materials
  • Verification of system interfaces
  • Must have the ability to travel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Chevrolet Art Designer

The Brand Identity Group resides in Vehicle OS under Human Interface Design; this is where GM’s UX becomes real inside the digital cabin. Chevrolet’s digital expression must mirror its physical ambition; athletic, modern and capable. The Chevrolet Art Designer plays a critical role in shaping Chevrolet’s visual DNA inside the digital cabin, ensuring that every image, narrative, and design moment reflects the brand’s heritage and its future-forward identity.

You’ll collaborate closely with Chevrolet’s studio, brand strategy, and UX teams to articulate the essence of Chevrolet through compelling visuals and storytelling. This calibration technician is required to perform calibrations on medium to high level test and measurement instrumentation and assist in general laboratory duties as assigned. Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Technical Support Specialist - Technical Lead (Tech Lead). Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as NSWC-Corona’s NITE FST-O technical team lead / Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of FST-O training events. Communicate with leadership on any technical issues and new requirements.
  • Promulgate and de-conflict resource challenges in support of planning, test, and execution events.
  • Work with Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) local and remote operators and engineers, MOC training teams, and augment personnel to coordinate and plan systems and personnel support for events. Job Summary:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and other accounting statements and reports including management reports. In addition, he or she will review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.

Job Description:

  • Assists, prepares and reviews monthly journal entries and month-end analyses.
  • Assists and prepares various exhibits and commentary required for reports issued to management and government agencies, including SG&A cost variance analysis. Coordinates the collection, review, proofreading, distribution, and filing of reports.
  • Prepares and reviews analyses of various account balances and maintains files of supporting documentation.
  • Prepares written procedures on job responsibilities.
  • Assists with special projects, year-end activities and related duties.
  • Prepares and reviews payroll and bank account reconciliations, including analysis of weekly payroll files.
  • Evaluates and recommends improvements to accounting procedures and systems.
  • Provides guidance to junior accounting staff.

Successful incumbents will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent)
