As the Human Resources Generalist, you will lead Plastipak’s Employee Engagement program at our Champaign, IL, location. You will be responsible for the employment lifecycle, from hire to retire, including transfers and promotions. You collaborate with managers and colleagues to shape experiences in the workplace, ensuring Associates feel valued, pride in their purpose, part of the community, and supported at every phase of their employment with the company.

You Will:

  • Partner with Manufacturing Site Leadership to formulate the Site engagement strategy & roadmap.
  • Lead planning and execution of employee recognition and rewards programs & Associate engagement activities
  • Shape & monitor new Associate onboarding & assimilation, assuring new Associates are set-up for success to thrive
  • Serve as a coach to leaders, providing tools & training to support healthy communication & relationships with Associates
  • Collect data via multiple measures, then analyze data to assess program efficacy & measure progress for continuous improvement
  • Be a visible presence, maintaining a finger-on-the-pulse of Associate engagement
  • Assist internal associates with career growth and changes
  • Be a resource for Associates, pointing them in the right direction for information to support their professional & personal needs

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with preference for Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications
  • Willing to be on-site and walk the manufacturing floor full-time
  • Minimum of 2 years of human resource work experience in a manufacturing company
  • Competencies for success:  High energy, approachable, authentic, relatable
  • Ability to function as a coach, cheerleader, champion, and communicator
  • Proficiency with formulating measures, collecting data from multiple sources, and gleaning meaningful insights
  • Proficient with HR systems (Workday a plus) and advanced functionality with Excel
  • Strong analytical abilities to accurately assess employees’ needs, evaluate feedback, and translate into actionable recommendations to constantly improve Plastipak’s work environment.

Responsibilities:

MV Transportation is seeking a Regional Talent Development Manager to partner with field and divisional leadership to strengthen the leadership pipeline, improve manager effectiveness, and drive consistent execution of talent and development initiatives. This role translates talent data (Skill–Will, performance evaluations, 360s, and other assessments) into actionable development plans, ensures timely intervention and follow-through, and leads leadership training efforts for divisional and field leaders within the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze Skill–Will assessments, performance evaluations, 360 feedback, and other talent data to identify development needs and recommend appropriate courses of action for divisional leaders.
  • Assist operational leaders in the creation, execution, and ongoing management of Individual Development Plans.  This includes identifying appropriate learning resources, coordinating enrollment in programs or courses, managing timelines, and tracking completion of assignments.
  • Conduct follow-up and assess progress against defined performance and skill objectives.
  • Coordinate and deliver leadership training for divisional leadership, aligned to corporate L&D priorities and regional operational needs.
  • Serve as a regional extension of corporate Learning & Development, ensuring leadership programs are executed consistently and effectively at the divisional level.
  • Customize delivery formats of training (in-person, virtual, blended) to meet regional and operational constraints.
  • Partner with regional leadership and the Regional HR Director to support the execution and management of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) as appropriate
  • Partner with Recruiting and Operations to assess talent readiness for open positions, new work, and bid-related staffing needs.
  • Provide individual CliftonStrengths coaching for all field managers within the region.
  • Facilitate team-based CliftonStrengths coaching for divisional leadership teams as needed, including new startup teams, underperforming divisions, or teams undergoing transition.

Qualifications:

Experience & Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in talent development, leadership development, HR business partnering, or a related field, with direct exposure to field or operational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience translating talent data (performance evaluations, 360 feedback, Skill–Will or similar assessments) into actionable development plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Proven experience in coordinating, and delivering leadership training for managers and divisional-level leaders in a distributed or multi-site organization.
  • Hands-on experience supporting performance management processes, including performance improvement plans and corrective action, in partnership with leaders and HR.
  • Experience facilitating leadership discussions with senior operational leaders (GMs, Directors, RVPs, or equivalent), including presenting insights, recommendations, and progress updates.

Certifications & Tools

  • CliftonStrengths certification or experience delivering CliftonStrengths coaching (certification preferred).
  • Experience working with HRIS and talent systems (e.g., Workday, performance management platforms, 360 tools).
  • Familiarity with eLearning platforms and blended learning delivery models.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • High emotional intelligence and sound judgment when navigating sensitive performance and talent matters.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for leaders.

Starting salary range: $90,000 - $100,000

The Systems Engineer is expected to provide system level trade-space assessments of approaches working with the Project Engineer to determine the benefit trade-offs. At Ultra Maritime, the Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to guide the development and selection of key technologies for the Navy and will have the opportunity to work with complex software algorithms and cutting-edge digital signal processing hardware. The Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to contribute to key strategic approaches for future proposals, IR&D, and additional development activities.

Primary Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
  • Knowledge of proper systems engineering discipline and rigor required for disciplined systems development.
  • Significant experience with Radar systems or similar signal processing systems.

In this role, the ideal candidate will have experience in sales and client relations, preferably in product trading companies. They will report to the Senior Regional Director, Americas & Europe, as well as adhering to the global nature of the business and having flexibility to working different time zones.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assume account management responsibilities in the U.S.
  • Project manage end-to-end customer process for allocated accounts and activities
    -    Provide complementary support for the company headquarter in Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific time zone
  • Nurture and further develop existing customer relationship
  • Prepare customer reporting and analysis
  • Contribute to the creation and presentation of final deliverables for clients
  • Deliver accurate forecasting reports and calculations that align with client objectives and timelines
  • Create detailed project timelines and development schedules tailored to client needs
  • Produce well-organized, comprehensive process documents for both internal and client use
    -    Complete and present client deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations, consistently on schedule
