  • Manage Production and Test environment server maintenance, including monthly patching and troubleshooting any server problems.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory replication and troubleshoot Active Directory Performance.
  • Establish and create security and remote access policies, backup procedures, and pertinent network/client machine documentation and user instructions for the organization.
  • Configure backups and recovery plans for Windows-based servers using Windows Server Backup Utility.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s with 12+ years administration and tier 3 operational support for servers, workstations, and applications in a Windows Active Directory environment (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of CommVault backup.

Posted Pay Range

Who You Are:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of Lead Engineer is to lead the design and detail engineering efforts to support the construction of high speed aluminum vessels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guide the sequence of engineering and design of all mechanical systems in all company projects.
  • Reviews engineering department output for adherence to design standards.
  • Ensure project production drawings are completed and distributed to Document Control on schedule, for efficient assembly and fabrication of products.
  • Assist Chief Naval Architect in team member assignments and provide feedback on individual job performance
  • Support Project Management and Production personnel during construction phase of project.
  • Periodically view the project build progress in the shipyard to insure agreement between the plans and the construction.
  • Adhere to all Vigor safety standards.
  • Participate in annual performance evaluations.
  • Comply with all Vigor policies and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement program.
  • Support estimators during preliminary stages of project.
  • Participate in sea trials of completed vessels.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Shall have capability of leading a team of engineers (up to 10), designers and engineering subcontractors, generating and managing schedules and budgets with assistance from the Chief Naval Architect.

INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS: This position maintains a variety of professional relationships and must be able to determine the appropriate level of communication and interaction for various situations and circumstances. The ability to effectively influence decisions through respectful interactions with others both within the organization and outside of the organization is essential in this role.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Very strong computer skills and experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Ship Constructor and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred.
  • Experience must include good working knowledge of design spiral, vessel arrangements, structural, electrical, mechanical and outfit details.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts and systems preferred.

As part of the Module Design Team, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge, state-of-the-art power amplifiers (PAs), RF switches, low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), and front-end modules for automotive and IoT applications. Job Responsibilities

  • Design RF power amplifiers and related circuits for wireless applications using technologies such as GaAs, GaN, SOI, or SiGe.
  • Conduct lab testing and characterization of highly integrated RF System in Package solutions.
  • Take hands-on design responsibility, including overseeing detailed IC layout, lab evaluation, and back-fitting of designs.
  • Present detailed design reviews covering all aspects: IC, package, electromagnetic (EM), and thermal considerations.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels within the organization, demonstrating problem-solving skills, data analysis, and critical thinking.
  • Support all stages of product development, from concept to mass production.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent degree
  • 8 years of industry or combination with equivalent post-graduate academic experience (Master’s, or Ph.D.)
  • Strong knowledge of power amplifiers including modes of operation, matching, bias, and architecture considerations.
  • IC tape out experience in Silicon, GaAs HBT, GaN, or other relevant semiconductor technology.
  • Strong EM knowledge with including experience with passive components including couplers, baluns, and matching networks.
  • Expertise with Keysight ADS, and/or Cadence and associated simulation engines and data displays.
  • Experience with EM simulators such as Momentum, HFSS, and EMX
  • Familiarity with a modern scripting or coding language is a plus
  • Good understanding of RF systems and familiarity with wireless standards including 3GPP cellular 2/3/4/5G/6G, 802.11 WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and more
  • Experience in FEM product development and customer interaction

The scope of work for the inspector:

  • Visual/Field Inspection - Visual inspection and documentation of corrosion levels on structural members, mechanical damages to structural components, and structure to electrolyte interface
  • Cathodic Protection System Install - Oversight and documentation of Cathodic Protection system installations, to confirm that the installations are performed in accordance with engineered drawings and contract specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent - required
  • AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector (formerly NACE 2) and/or AMPP CP1 - Cathodic Protection Tester (formerly NACE CP1) certification or higher - required
    • Candidates holding only one certification must be willing to obtain the other.
  • Entry-level to nominally two years of relevant work experience
  • Functional in the use of Cathodic protection inspection equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Close, color, distance, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus;
  • Ability to travel throughout California, and ability to work outside (including inclement weather); and

  • Within 60-days of hire, CST technicians are required to successfully complete CPAC certification. CST technicians must complete the Defense Acquisition University, Continuous Learning Module; Corrosion Prevention and Control Overview (CLM 038). Completion of this online course is required within one year of employment and before recertification.

trade qualifications, manufacturer certifications of training for Coating systems and corrosion prevention may be substituted for up to two (2) years of technician experience for
each major qualification or specialized trade skill.
