Leidos is seeking a System Integration & Test Engineer in Egg Harbor Township, NJ who will be part of a dynamic team working on the Federal Aviation Administration’s Time-Based Flow Management (TBFM) System helping to advance our transition from a ground-based system of air traffic control to a satellite-based system of air traffic management.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

Working both as a member of a team and independently, the successful candidate will be:

  • Optimizing the experience for the flying public, Air Traffic Control, and the airline industry by improving the collaboration and decision-making capabilities of flight controllers,
  • Developing and executing test procedures to verify requirements,
  • Integrating new hardware and software into the system baseline,
  • Up-leveling regression test procedures to check for new system behavior,
  • Executing regression test procedures to evaluate system for regression of core capabilities,
  • Developing scenarios,
  • Writing/editing/executing/debugging test productivity tools and other duties as assigned,
  • Analyzing identified issues in conjunction with System Engineering and Software in regard to developing solutions
  • Providing in person Site LOE Support across the National Airspace System (NAS) in support of TBFM Tech Refresh deployment efforts

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
  • Ability to conduct technical reviews with a government agency / customer
  • Ability to follow a documented Integration and Test Development Process
  • Experience in the use of UNIX and Linux operating systems
  • Strong communication skills to interface with internal and external customers
  • Previous experience with TBFM

Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract, and is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Cybersecurity Engineer will perform cybersecurity authorization services, including acting as a point of contact cybersecurity authorization related aspects to the assigned information systems, ensuring systems are maintained per security policies and procedures and maintaining compliance and ongoing reporting to management. Responsibilities include:

  • Design, deploy, configure, operate, and maintain authorizations and accreditation of the C1 Architecture for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in NIPRNet and SIPRNet

  • Author, review, coordinate and submit cybersecurity authorization required artifacts to eMASS (including change requests) to achieve milestones such as Interim Authority to Test (IATT) and Authorization to Operate (ATO)

  • Support conducting cybersecurity authorization activities to comply with all current Cybersecurity and IA manuals, instructions, and guides within the DoDI 8500.01 and DON 5239.

  • Supply RMF-required authorization-related documentation and artifacts

  • Conduct routine Insider Threat Assessment and document results in the Contractor’s System Security Plan

  • Continuously monitor system resources through automated scanning and implement automated reporting feeds to support cybersecurity authorizations.

  • Verify patch compliance using the approved technical solution

  • Provide and execute a plan for vulnerability and compliance scanning

  • Implementation of security procedures, and verify information system security requirements, including coordinating the execution, review, and disposition of STIG checklists for systems, applications, developed code and other components.

  • Independently develop and maintain system security documentation, including drafting, reviewing, editing, and recommending guidance for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Tactics, Techniques, & Procedures (TTP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) Score Card.

  • Participate in regular briefings with the customer on cybersecurity status, including preparing briefing materials

  • Work closely with government Cyber & technical teams to support ATO conditions and requirements.

  • Prepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes

  • Collaborate with team members and provide mentorship to junior staff, fostering a learning environment

  • Active Secret clearance at a minimum required to start.

Looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to support a large Air Force, IT enterprise, Cyber Weapons System/Program in San Antonio, TX.

Primary Tasks:

  • Design, deploy, and manage virtual cloud infrastructures across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud (IaaS & PaaS).
  • Ensure integration of multiple Cloud teams, processes, and instances to meet a holistic solution.
  • Maintain and optimize virtualization platforms like VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and cloud-native virtualization solutions.
  • Automate deployments and configurations using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Provision, maintain, and scale cloud resources in AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, and OpenStack.
  • Strong expertise in US-Gov/DoD cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Primary Tasks

  • Create and Maintain Epics and User Stories based off User’s 1067 requirements
  • Represent team to Stakeholders, conducts research for contextual inquires and usability testing

Basic Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Manufacturing, Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent experience in Automation

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Sr. Systems Engineer/Technical Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the following:

Program Leadership Functions

  • Serve as a principal point of contact for the SLCM-N Program leadership on cross-functional matters, aligning organizational priorities with programmatic objectives.
  • Coordinate and oversee action items, deliverables, and priorities for the program office.
  • Develop and track program initiatives, schedules, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery of requirements and objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance to leadership on resource planning, operations, and process improvement opportunities.

Systems Engineering & Technical Leadership

  • Support the integration and coordination of SLCM-N program technical and programmatic activities.
  • Coordinate systems-level assessments of weapon system program requirements, performance metrics, and risk management.
  • Provide technical analysis and recommendations to leadership to inform capability development and execution.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Interface with government, industry, and interagency stakeholders to facilitate alignment and improve collaboration.
  • Represent the SLCM-N Program in meetings, technical reviews, and working groups, ensuring leadership objectives and decisions are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • Prepare technical briefings, program updates, and decision packages for senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Program/Operations Management

  • Oversee and align program operations and support elements, including budget, logistics, and technical program execution.
  • Monitor program risks, issues, and opportunities; develop mitigation plans as necessary.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators to monitor program health.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field and 6 or more years of experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Experience with DoD weapon systems and/or large-scale systems engineering programs. Previous experience supporting Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) or DOD missile system programs is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, lifecycle management, and systems engineering principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, coordinate broad operational activities, and lead cross-functional teams in a Technical Operations Lead.
  • Proven communication, briefing, and stakeholder engagement skills at senior levels.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • Interim Secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain top secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Direct experience supporting the Navy’s missile programs, including Trident II (D5), SLCM-N, or Strategic Deterrence programs.
  • Active secret clearance
