Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must Currently have a TS/SCI

This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population. Leidos has an exciting opening for you, our next TS/SCI cleared DevOps Software Engineer working with a dynamic team to design, develop and deploy a state-of-the-art technology stack supporting the DOMEX Data Discovery Platform (D3P) Modernization program as well as our client’s mission to centralize and standardize Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED) of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE).  You will have impact as part of a mission focused, solutions oriented, and adaptive team that values inclusion, innovation, collaboration, and professional development. As a DevOps Engineer you will contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of a full stack containerized microservices architecture as well as technical systems administration, installation, and configuration. You will participate in fostering a DevOps culture, building strong cross functional collaboration with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams, in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of developers, other software integrators and system administrators on the following key tasks:

• To deploy, triage and maintain a production big data pipeline using a microservice architecture running on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch backend, and Kafka messaging
• Enhance, improve, and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes to facilitate faster development, quicker error detection and resilient deployments
• Design, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure to include physical and virtualized environments

Leidos’ Corporate Information Security Office, reporting through the Digital Modernization sector, is seeking an Information Technology Team Manager. This is a primarily hands-on technical role responsible for supporting and enhancing the enterprise IT environment across both Windows and Linux platforms with a focus on system reliability, performance, and security. The role includes leadership responsibilities involving team coordination, mentorship, and serving as the primary Information Technology (IT) decision maker. In this role, you will be accountable for the management and technical administration of the Information System (IS) in accordance with internal and external security requirements, overseeing day-to-day testing, implementation, deployment, maintenance, and administration of cyber systems or networks and their infrastructure hardware and software. Primary Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems in a secure, stable, and scalable manner

Basic Qualifications

• Currently hold Active TOP SECRET / SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree and 12 – 15 years related experience in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or a master’s with 6 – 10 years of related experience. Additional relevant experience, training, and / or certifications may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Current hold DoDM 8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems (workstation & server), Linux, and system virtualization (multiple hypervisors) in a secure network environment.
• Detailed understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST, ICD, and CNSS standards.
• Experience with compliance scanning tools (e.g. SCAP) and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. ACAS).
• Familiarity with network technologies (LAN & WAN) and best practices within a classified environment to include crypto and key management.
• Hands on experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation and management.
• Good writing and verbal presentation skills.
• Must be able to work in a constantly changing regulatory environment with short-, mid-, and long-term timelines for remediating any non-compliance.
• Must be able to work well within a team environment and able to adapt quickly to change.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience in an ISSE, ISSO, or IT role
• Experience with d esigning and managing the end-to-end process for ingesting new security data sources into the SIEM, such as Elasticsearch, including log collection, shipping, parsing, normalization, and enrichment
• Experience with data parsing and normalization, developing and maintaining robust parsing logic to break down raw, unstructured logs into well-defined, queryable fields, owning data schema, such as Elastic Common Schema (ECS), and ensuring consistency across all data sources

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with software developers, network engineers, and systems engineers to integrate commercial and government software applications into Operating Systems.
• Work within an Agile scrum development model producing full system installation images on a biweekly basis

Key Responsibilities: * Assist in interpreting business and functional requirements by collaborating with senior engineers to support technical implementation. * Support subject matter experts by documenting processes and contributing to knowledge-sharing activities within the team. * Follow established procedures and contribute to team coordination by understanding roles and responsibilities across support and engineering functions. * Participate in the implementation and testing of high-availability and redundant network systems under the guidance of senior engineers. * Install, configure, and perform basic Identity services components as part of MFA services. * Develop automation tools necessary for MFA services. * Implementation of Identity lifecycle automated provisioning workflows to ensure secure, and timely access. * Work with cloud based tools in the deployment of the services in cloud infrastructure. * Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible for the delivery and support of MFA services. * Enforce zero-trust principles to adhere to security standards and processes. * Provide first-line operational support, including monitoring alerts, escalating issues, and assisting in 24x7 support efforts as scheduled. *What we’re looking for… * You’ll need to have: * Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. * Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience * IAM Expertise – Deep knowledge and understanding of Identity protocols like LDAP, SAML, FIDO, OAuth, and OpenID Connect. Working experience with products like DUO, Okta. * Automation & Scripting – Proficiency in developing automation tools using languages like python, powershell, etc. * Directory Services – Practical experience of LDAP directory server implementations. * Cloud & Containers – Good understanding of containers and cloud based services. * Operations – Experience with application delivery, support, incident management, log management, and problem management areas. * Education – Bachelor’s degree ( in engineering, computer science or related discipline) or four or more years of work experience. * Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one of or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training. * Familiarity with Identity and Access Management solutions. * Knowledge of Splunk. Ability to write splunk search language models, data models, and lookups for thread hunting. * Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining automation playbooks using python/API integrations and * Strong knowledge of incident response lifecycles. * Experience building relationships across business units. Even better if you have one or more of the following: * Strong networking and cybersecurity knowledge and experience. * Knowledge of Jumphost servers and their operational use * Knowledge of applications like Hashicrop vault to store credentials and secrets. * Experience in developing Splunk SOAR to automate triage and response actions. * Hands on experience in managing Identities in containers and cloud native services. * Directory Services optimization to support millions of identity attributes and high frequency authentication requests. * Expert knowledge of LDAP, SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC. * Hands on experience with IAM in Kubernetes, ansible for automatic security patching for identity servers. * Established track record in managing complex processes, driving results, and adapting to change. * Demonstrated success leading organizations providing cybersecurity engineering. * The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and educate peers and teams on security concepts and overall importance to the business. * Recent experience with machine learning, statistical analysis, graph theory or artificial intelligence. * Hands-on experience working with internet-scale data sets such as Netflow, BGP, DNS, and IDS logs. * Knowledge of network-based, system-level, and application layer attacks and mitigation methods.
