The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Lead Aeroelasticity and Dynamics Engineer to support tactical aircraft programs in Hazelwood, MO !

As a member of the BDS Fixed-Wing Loads & Dynamics (L&D) Capability Team, you will be part of a core engineering team directly supporting production and development programs including F-15, F/A-18, T-7A, MQ-25, and proprietary programs. The L&D team is looking for individuals with experience in flutter, divergence, structural mode interaction (SMI) and aeroservoelasticity (ASE).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate and/or leads in developing air vehicle requirements for aeroelasticity including flutter, divergence, freeplay and rigidity
  • Collaborate with the airframe & subsystems design and analysis engineers to generate integrated aero and structural models for flight vehicle analysis consistent with a Model Based Engineering (MBE) environment
  • Perform analysis for flutter, divergence, aeroservoelasticity, freeplay and rigidity to support air vehicle design and stores integration
  • Define allowable flight envelopes and operational limits
  • Develop flight flutter test and ground vibration test plans
  • Create finite element models and correlate to test results
  • Perform ground and/or flight test programs, by the development of test requirements, providing data for pre-test analysis, monitoring testing, data analysis and documenting results, in order to support design and verification of vehicle and components
  • Review and approves airframe and subsystems hardware packages for flight worthiness and to ensure the air vehicle meets the service environment
  • Provide data to support the definition and documentation of structural design requirements for the service life of the product, to ensure company, customer and regulatory requirements are met
  • Present engineering data and results to management and customers during program level reviews and other technical meetings

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Air Vehicle Systems
  • 5+ years experience in aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, flutter, structural dynamics, modern control systems and/or finite element methods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
  • 9+ years experience in aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, flutter, structural dynamics, modern control systems and/or finite element methods
  • Experience working with Laboratory Test, Flight Test and/or Flight Science domains
  • Experience leading teams on complex projects
  • Experience in engineering modeling and/or analysis with computer programming of analytical models, simulations, and/or data

Integration Technician III

The Integration Technician III assembles, installs, configures, tests, and supports complex hardware and software solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, test, calibrate, and diagnose complex computer hardware and software in accordance with work instructions.

The Boeing Company is looking for a MQ-25 Vehicle Management System (VMS) Software Lead Engineer to join the MQ-25 Vehicle Systems Software team located in Hazelwood, MO. This position will focus on VMS Computer (VMSC) Operational Flight Program (OFP) for the Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) and Obsolescence contracts.

The MQ-25A Stingray will be the world’s first operational, carrier-based unmanned aircraft and pioneer the integration of manned and unmanned systems within the carrier air wing. Job Summary
As a Mission Analysis Engineer on the Mission Analysis Engineering Team, you will be the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for all modeling, simulation, and analysis for a program, study, or proposal. SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:

As an AMR Systems Engineer, you work closely with our Sales, Applications, Service, and Aftermarket teams to deliver business value to our end users, and OEM partners through designing, testing, and implementing AMR solutions. AMR System Engineers design and implement fleets of OTTO (or similar) autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and software at our customer facilities. Collaborate with customers as the primary technical AMR solution expert during the project design phase, leading interactions to ensure successful outcomes during deployment and implementation. In addition, you will deliver training to our staff, integration partners and end-users, and evaluate use cases to establish guidelines, standards, and best practices for how OTTO (or similar) products can be used by the market. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design detailed solutions of AMR systems (preferably with OTTO by Rockwell Automation products) to meet the customer requirements; this includes workflow design, attachment design, map design, IT strategy, and development/modification of middle layer software logic using Ignition OPC/UA, FT Optix and/or PLC logic design and modification
  • Project planning for the deliverables and work packages you own.
  • Communicate technical details and status to the customer and broader project team.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware technical issues using internal tools available.
  • Author and execute acceptance test plans for validation of system functionality and performance.

The NRAO is seeking an Operations Specialist to join our Operations team at the Very Large Array (VLA) in New Mexico. The Operations Specialist provides skilled technical assistance, under limited supervision, in the execution of astronomical observing programs, basic analysis and archiving of data. The Operations Specialist operates an array of 27 telescopes as one system ensuring the acquisition of data from the instrument delivers a high level of data quality while ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment. Candidates with preferred experience and education will be considered for a higher-level Operation Specialist ranking; duties and responsibilities increase with each level. This is a “Safety Sensitive” position as described in the Position Requirements below.

The position is based at the VLA, 50 miles west of Socorro, NM. Socorro is a small, historical town in the Rio Grande Valley, 75 miles south of Albuquerque

What You Will be Doing:

The essential responsibilities of an Operations Specialist include:

  • Operating and monitoring telescopes and supporting equipment;
  • Cross training to operate the Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA);
  • Troubleshooting and taking corrective action when errors and faults occur;
  • Communicating with personnel working on the array and tracking activity, notifying personnel of dangerous weather conditions, monitoring fire alarm systems and responding to emergencies;
  • Initiating telescope control and preparing the antenna, receivers, clocks, recording systems, and other hardware/software for operation;
  • Receiving observing instructions from on-site or remote observers and executing observing programs including, but not limited to, processing incoming observe files, verifying against published schedules, annotating files on the observation schedule, executing observing programs, and sending pointing results to observers;
  • Aiding and accommodating requests from, observers, scientific staff, engineers, and technicians in regards to basic commands for telescope controls and data analyses;
  • Monitoring readings and alerts on multiple computer screens to detect unsafe equipment conditions and ensuring all systems are configured correctly and operating normally;
  • Monitoring fringe amplitude readings and data flagging codes to check data quality;
  • Performing system tests to measure values used to finely tune each antenna. Verifying antenna functionality and receiver performance and updating system parameters, following antenna moves or a major hardware upgrade, in consultation with a system expert;
  • Taking prescribed actions to protect telescope equipment;
  • Making necessary personnel call-outs when equipment safety is compromised and/or when major problems occur;
  • Maintaining an accurate observing log of failures, abnormal conditions, significant events, equipment status changes, procedural changes, or special instructions from observers or staff;

Additional responsibilities of an Operations Specialist II include:

Work Environment

The Operations Specialist will work as part of a team that supports a 24 hour / 7-day rotating shift pattern consisting of day, evening and night shifts. A typical workweek is 4/10hr days with days off between shift changes. The work is indoors at a console with multiple computer terminals. Operators must be available for emergency call out and may be required to work overtime to cover vacant shifts or in emergencies until relieved. The employee will work at high altitudes and self-drive an Observatory vehicle to the VLA site. The Operator may be required to drive at night and possibly in adverse weather conditions.

Who You Are:

  • You have an Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school in math, physics, science or a related technical field.

As a critical and senior member of the Information Security team, the Senior Cyber Security Analyst works closely with the management, business units, enterprise applications and infrastructure teams to ensure network availability, network/system security and data security for the credit union. The Laboratory Software Administrator oversees the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of laboratory informatics systems within a regulated environment.
