Primary Responsibilities

  • Configuration, setup and maintenance of numerous air-gapped Information Systems (IS) and networks
  • Verify and maintain security configuration of the multiple Information Systems
  • Secure and maintain all components IAW established Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and customer directives
  • Manage daily break/fix scenarios, updates, backups, monitoring and user management
  • Patch and anti-virus definition management
  • Hardware troubleshooting (COTS PC, printer, networks, and encryption hardware)
  • Monitor customer request and tasking to ensure requirements are addressed in a timely manner according to priority

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree and 4-8 years of experience, Associate degree and 6-8 years or High School diploma and 8 or more years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Current DoD 8140/8570 compliant IA certification for IAT II(Security+ce or higher)
  • Must hold current Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain Top Secret and Special Access Programs clearance.
  • Hands-on experience in Linux Server and workstation environments.
  • Experience in the design, implementation, and sustainment of Virtualized Machine (VM) architecture
  • Experience with system configuration and apply security controls under Risk Management Framework.
  • Demonstrated understanding of computer network concepts (network hardware, cable management, IP address management).
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.

Leidos is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer who will be a member of a dynamic team working on the Federal Aviation Administration’s En-Route Automation Modernization ERAM) technology, which is the heart of the Next Generation Air Transportation System and the pulse of the National Airspace System helping to advance our transition from a ground-based system of air traffic control to a satellite-based system of air traffic management. Primary Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of Test Approaches and Test Procedures to verify System Requirements.
  • Perform integration of new hardware and software into the system baseline. Development of Regression Test Procedures to check for new system behavior. Execution of Regression Test Procedures to evaluate system for regression of core capabilities.
  • Scenario development to inject flights into the system to mimic realistic and specific air traffic conditions
  • Interfacing with the FAA customer to address/answer questions relating to the developed requirements, use cases describing human interactions and design decisions.
  • Performing Systems Engineering as needed for the ERAM system. Providing support needed for software development, integration and test, and other functional areas.

Leidos’ Digital Modernization sector is seeking a Senior Firewall Engineer to support the GSM-O effort. This position is located at the Pentagon and is 100% on-site. This role requires an engineer who can design, implement, and manage complex firewall solutions to ensure the security and integrity of network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience with firewall technologies including Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, and Palo Alto, as well as a strong background in security networking.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, Implement Manage firewall solutions using Cisco ASA/Firepower, Juniper SRX and Palo Alto.
  • Monitor firewall performance and security logs to identify and mitigate potential threats.

The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team discipline is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support integration and test activities for NASAMS (surface to air defense system) programs. In this role you will collaborate internally across functions and externally with our industry partners and U.S. Government customers to plan, prepare and execute Product Acceptance Testing and System Demonstration of the NASAMS Fire Unit. This position reports into the overall NASAMS SI&T Cross Product Team Lead.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the test architect in the integration and test strategy development and implementation to include metric collection and tracking.
  • Support the development and review of test plans and test procedures.
  • Support the planning, preparations, and conduct and product acceptance, system demonstration, and System Integration and Checkout (SICO) events.
  • Identify and coordinate resources required for execution of demonstration and test events.

Leidos is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer who will be a member of a dynamic team on the Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) program. TFDM is a system that will improve aircraft runway and terminal congestion. Nationwide congestion is increasing, and the need for efficient aircraft traffic planning is critical. TFDM is the surface management solution that will provide NextGen Air Traffic Control capabilities to improve air traffic operations in the National Airspace System (NAS).

TFDM program is a Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) NextGen program based on airport surface management provides that efficiencies for both the airport surface and terminal airspace by providing a new and comprehensive integrated surface traffic control and management system.

Systems Integration Test Engineer responsibilities:

Working both as a member of a team and independently, the successful candidate will:

•    Perform testing in Physical and Virtual test labs to ensure the system, test procedure, and test inputs are prepared to execute with the customer present

•    Execute procedures that verify the system is properly configured and operating in the NAS

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Installation Technician to join our team in McLean, VA. In this hands-on role, you will support the deployment and installation of secure network infrastructure and endpoint equipment in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate configurations, reliable connectivity, and successful execution of technical projects across classified workspaces.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Install and terminate CAT5/CAT6 and fiber cabling, including racks, patch panels, wall jacks, and associated infrastructure hardware.
  • Perform cable pulls, terminations, pinouts, component installations, testing, documentation, and ensure proper cable management.
  • Install and configure workstations, rebuild desktops, relocate IT equipment, and deploy network drops per provided technical documentation.
  • Interpret design packages, wiring schematics, port maps, and network diagrams to guide and validate installation work.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve workstation issues, connectivity problems, and equipment failures.
  • Travel locally between customer sites and support temporary assignments as needed.
  • Work scheduled shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM as part of a team providing coverage between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience OR Associates degree and 4+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience
  • Proven experience installing and testing network drops, including labeling, cable dressing, and certifying terminations.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling methodologies, industry standards, and common troubleshooting practices.
  • Hands-on experience deploying IT endpoints such as desktops, printers, VOIP/digital phones, and network switches.
  • Ability to independently diagnose and resolve hardware, network, and telecom system issues.
  • Skilled in interpreting and executing work from network diagrams, floor plans, and installation packages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience supporting customer IT infrastructure installations.
  • Background in structured cabling and IT hardware installation.
  • Familiarity with LAN infrastructure deployment within the Sponsor’s classified environment.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to evolving technical tasks and learn new tools or procedures.
  • High attention to detail and effective organizational skills.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain stationary at least 25% of the time.
  • Must be able to operate computers, phones, and other office equipment for extended durations.
  • Must be able to navigate office environments, including under desks, raised floors, and server closets, some of which may be confined spaces.
